According to people with extensive experience in the use of a healing product, it is better to use apple cider vinegar for varicose veins, prepared at home. However, in the event that the patient does not have the opportunity to make the product on their own, it can be purchased at any grocery store. At the same time, attention should be paid to the packaging: the manufacturer must indicate that the product meets the required standards (GOST), is made without preservatives and dyes. During treatment, 6% vinegar can be used.

Useful properties of apple cider vinegar are to provide the following positive effects:

  • Strengthening the walls of blood vessels.
  • Elimination of edema.
  • Improvement of microcirculation.
  • Providing a tonic effect.

The positive therapeutic effect is due to the multicomponent composition of the product: vitamins, amino acids, trace elements. The use of vinegar also helps to increase the elasticity of blood vessels and has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect.

It is very important to correctly and systematically use apple cider vinegar for varicose veins of the legs. According to reviews, after a month of regular treatment, there are noticeable improvements. The patient is noted that there is a feeling of heaviness, pain in the legs and cramps.

Do not use highly concentrated vinegar

The product may not have the desired effect in severe disease or varicose veins in the later stages. In this case, only surgery can help.

Apple Cider Vinegar Uses: Topical Treatment

Treatment of varicose veins with apple cider vinegar in folk medicine occupies a special place. There are a large number of time-tested recipes that fight the unpleasant manifestations of the disease: pain, heaviness in the legs, inflamed nodes.

It is important to know how to use the medicinal product correctly and which procedures have the most pronounced therapeutic effect.

When applied externally during treatment, an allergic reaction may occur: itching, redness, peeling of the skin. In order to neutralize the negative effects of vinegar, you should immediately wipe the lower limbs with cold water. If side effects do not go away within a few hours, you should consult a doctor.

Rubbing and compresses

The easiest way is to rub diluted apple cider vinegar on the site of inflammation 2-3 times a day after a bath or shower. In the process, you can do a small anti-varicose self-massage of the lower extremities. After the procedure, the vinegar should not be washed off.

Therapeutic compresses. In this case, a piece of gauze or soft cloth is moistened with apple cider vinegar and applied to the veins. From above, gauze must be insulated with a warm blanket. Next, the patient raises his legs and places them on a small pillow. In this position, you should be 30-50 minutes.

Wraps and baths

You can also treat varicose veins with medical procedures such as therapeutic baths and body wraps.

Wraps - a small piece of soft, preferably cotton fabric, is abundantly moistened in diluted apple cider vinegar and applied to the site of inflammation, where the vascular pattern and protruding veins are most visible. From above, the fabric can be wrapped with parchment paper or cling film, as well as a warm scarf or towel. The patient should be warm and at rest throughout the procedure - at least half an hour. The frequency of wrapping is 3-4 times a week.

To prepare a therapeutic bath, you should find a container in which the patient can immerse his legs up to the knees. For 5 liters of water, add a quarter cup of apple cider vinegar. Additionally, you can add essential oils of mint, juniper and cypress, sea salt. This procedure perfectly cools the skin, has a tonic and anti-inflammatory effect. It is recommended to do baths 3-4 times a week for 15-20 minutes.

Only systematic treatment can help in the treatment of varicose veins with apple cider vinegar

Pouring has a positive therapeutic effect. For the procedure, vinegar is mixed with cool water in a ratio of 1 to 3. It is necessary to pour feet 5-7 times during the day. The procedure can be performed daily. Such treatment is suitable for patients who have the opportunity to stay at home all day.

Patients with a severe form of the disease should first check with the doctor about the possibility of water procedures using apple cider vinegar.

Before considering how to drink the product and whether it is suitable for ingestion, the patient must understand that it is best to use homemade vinegar.

Add 1.5-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water at room temperature and mix thoroughly. The resulting drink should be drunk throughout the day.

Vinegar can provoke the development of unpleasant sensations in the throat, increased sensitivity of the enamel, nausea, or indigestion.

In the event that heartburn, stomach pain, or stool disorders occur after drinking diluted apple cider vinegar, then the internal intake of the product should be discarded.
