Aromatic oils can be added not only to cosmetics and personal care products. Do not do without these ingredients and the creation of perfumes. In modern perfumery, mainly synthetic substances are used. This is due to the fact that natural essential oils are difficult to obtain. As a result, their value increases. But there is one caveat. If you use only expensive and high-quality perfumes, be sure that they contain only natural essential oils and their properties. The table used in perfumery and shown below will help you understand the main components. So, let's get started.

Now you know what types of essential oils are divided into. The table showed you the properties and application very clearly. The amount of these substances does not exceed 30%. The rest is for aromatics. Namely:

  1. natural. This group includes components obtained from natural essential oils by distillation. For example, ylang-ylang, cintronella, coriander.
  2. Synthetic. Substances of this group can be obtained by two methods: distillation and chemical synthesis. For example, the aroma of cloves can be achieved by combining eugenol and vanillin.

The amount of aromatic substances accounts for approximately 70-100%. Also, each perfume contains components of animal origin. Namely:

  • tincture of secretions and glands in alcohol;
  • beaver stream;
  • deer musk;
  • ambergris.

Their number is measured around 0-0.1%.

There is a certain group that includes these essential oils. The list and properties table will show in more detail. It's time to find out what kind of group this is.

Finally

Today we have opened the veil of secrets related to essential oils. You know where and how to properly use this natural ingredient. Each section contains a table of essential oils and their properties are also described so that you can navigate among all their diversity.

Alternative medicine is gaining more and more popularity, not only in Europe, but also in our country. Medicines are not always vital. Aromatherapy with essential oils has no less effect on the body, and the table will teach you how to mix correctly.

Aromatherapy as a method of alternative medicine has been around for a very long time. A story that happened to a French scientist at the beginning of the 20th century allowed the whole world to know the healing properties of oils.
Having received a burn on his hand, the researcher lowered them into a nearby container of lavender oil. The incredible happened: the hands quickly healed without scars and redness. Then the procedure was invented - aromatherapy, in which, for ease of use, a table of essential oils was created.

The use of essential oils in cosmetology and dermatology was studied by a French chemist in 1937, and only 30 years later the first clinics appeared in Europe that offered aromatherapy procedures. It has been proven that the influence of aromatic oils on the human psyche is much stronger than extracts or tinctures of plants.

Methods for using essential oils

Most people may think that aromatherapy is not a serious form of medicine. However, with the wrong dosage, selection of a method or method, this wonderful procedure will turn into already detrimental to you and your health. As with any treatment, recommendations, prescriptions and dosages must be followed.

The ability to properly apply essential oils in aromatherapy can be a real pleasure.

Aromatherapy will surprise with its tonic, healing, regulating, regenerating, soothing and antibacterial properties.

There are three areas of therapy:

Oils are never just used. It usually occurs in complex use with stones or lamps. Stones that are intended for this use are always small in size. They are made from environmentally friendly natural materials such as gypsum, clay, dough.
It is important that the material be porous and able to absorb essential aromas. Very often, people take them with them to enjoy their favorite scent throughout the day.

The method of applying essential oils as an application to a porous surface favorably affects a person wherever he is. The smell lasts for quite a long time, but the radius of influence is small due to the size of the source.
Therefore, many people put such aroma stones in wardrobes or linen closets. Outgoing fluids are quickly absorbed into the fabric, thus allowing you to enjoy a pleasant smell for a long time.

Often use stones with essential oil for home aromatherapy on tables or any other surfaces. An excellent alternative to an aroma lamp, which emits a smell many times stronger and may not appeal to people who are sensitive to aromas.

However, quite often they make excellent air fresheners in shops, boutiques or offices where there are problems with room ventilation. This method perfectly cleanses the room of extraneous odors, adjusts to the desired atmosphere and creates comfort.

Aroma oils with aroma stones are magical fighters against unpleasant air in cars. You will forget about machine smell, cigarette smoke, as well as any other foreign smells.

When choosing an oil, be careful, because each of them affects others, including you, in different ways. Here is a short list of possible suggested requirements with suitable additives:

  • disinfection
    juniper, lavender, sage, cypress, eucalyptus;
  • antiviral
    chamomile, tea tree, rosemary, thyme;
  • anti-inflammatory
    pine, lavender, lemon, thyme;
  • invigorating
    fir, orange, lemon, sage, cloves, basil, marjoram, lavender;
  • from insomnia
    sandalwood, melissa, lavender, rose;
  • tonic
    mint, fir, mandarin, immortelle;
  • deodorization
    cedar, patchouli, cypress, geranium, bargamot, eucalyptus.

You can buy a finished stone in a specialized store, but if you want, you can do it yourself. It's not difficult at all.

Not everyone knows the beneficial properties of aromatherapy for the body, learning which you will be amazed. This treatment option affects a person on several levels: physical and spiritual.

Based on drawing on your own vitality and self-regulation capabilities of the body, the result will not keep you waiting, but will surprise you with its positive and unexpected effect. Such procedures bring not only pleasure, but also enormous benefits.

It has already been said about such a type of therapy as aroma stones, however, essential oils, their properties and use in aromatherapy have not ended there. Each of you strive to create a cozy and warm atmosphere in your home, in which you can relax and do your favorite things.

Aroma lamps can complement the interior and benefit. They will perfectly fit into any interior. Spreading fluids, they fill the room with favorable energy, create harmony and promote recovery from infection, inflammation of the bronchi, influenza and pneumonia.

Aromatherapy and treatment with essential oils is possible at home. By installing such lamps, you will feel how fatigue, overwork and insomnia disappear. Some oils can calm the overly active and give confidence to the timid.

When buying an aroma lamp, consider three options:

  • classical;
  • electric;
  • electric with ultrasound.

The first type is more traditional and works on the principle of a heating device. With the help of a tablet candle located below, the liquid begins to heat up and evaporate. The second type is more modern. It is represented by aroma saucers and rings.
They are safe because they do not require additional fire and do not exude unpleasant odors from burning. And the third type is an ultrasonic lamp. Vibrations, with the help of which the particles evaporate, help to reveal the properties in full. The perfect solution for children's rooms or business offices.

Sachet

Therapy with aromatic sachets (herb pads) is very ancient. Easy to use and accessible to everyone, they fill your home and things with amazing incense.

Sachets are pillows filled with healing, environmentally friendly herbs and materials: twigs, flowers, sticks, spices. To enhance the effect and impact, essential oils were added to them. Such a thing will be a wonderful attribute of any home.

People put them in closets, linen chests, next to the bed, workplace, in the living room. By attaching a ribbon to them, they can be hung on handles, hooks, hangers. Often earlier they were perceived as amulets from negative energy and bad intentions.

Make it yourself or buy a ready-made sachet, it's up to you. But various fillers will already carry their specific purpose, for example:

  • romantic
    rose petals, orange peel, sage, gypsophila.
  • ennobling
    patchouli, cinnamon, cloves.
  • protective
    basil, dill, laurel, fennel, rosemary, fern.

Such mixtures are sprinkled with oils, for 10 g of dry materials - 5 drops of ether. Then it is left to soak for a while and is already sewn up as a filler. It happens that instead of “live” filling, foam rubber or any other absorbent material is used.

Useful properties of aromatherapy for the body

Each oil has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. In addition, they relieve stress, soothe, improve the functioning of the cardiovascular system, normalize blood pressure, fat metabolism, and have a positive effect on sleep and performance.

In addition, there are those that affect the immune system and have an antioxidant effect. The plants from which they are made contribute to slowing down aging, toning the body and stimulating the proper functioning of internal organs.

Various incense can protect a person from exposure and radiation. They prevent the development and occurrence of tumors, block the action of carcinogens.

Essential oils do an excellent job of cleaning the room from bacteria, infections.

Helps remove pesticides from the body. Many of them regenerate the skin, get rid of scars, accelerate the healing of burns, wounds, bruises, reduce pain in arthritis, rheumatism, relieve inflammation.

The combination of several oils has a positive effect on mental activity and performance. Regarding the nervous system, esters such as chamomile soothe, citrus fruits tone up, ylang-ylang cause sexual desire. Before use, make sure that you do not have an individual intolerance.

Abroad, very often they resort to this type of treatment, ignoring drug treatment. Undoubtedly, this is not a substitute for traditional medicine and in case of serious illnesses, you must go to the hospital.

Table of essential oils for aromatherapy

Currently, more than 3,000 essential oil plants are known, which are of value to the essential industry. Basically, the oil is obtained from medicinal plants, seeds, testes. They are easily soluble in alcohol, alcohol, vegetable oils, but practically insoluble in water.

In its pure form, never applied to the skin. The exception is the treatment of warts, rashes, freckles, fungal infections. Only upon contact with water, the ethers fully reveal their healing properties and saturate the broncho-pulmonary system.

It is very easy to get lost in the field of all kinds of flavors. How many smells, so many properties. All of them are different from each other, affecting a person in different ways. For convenience, a table of essential oils for aromatherapy has been created.

Often in such tables, the name of the aromatic oil is written on the left, and the main properties are indicated at the top right, and in front of each aroma there are either “checkmarks” or “pluses”, that this type corresponds to the property.

Aromatherapy is useful not only for adults, but also for children. The list of permitted components is also present in a special aromatherapy table of essential oils for children. For children, therapy is carried out 2-3 times a week. It is better to check the dosage with specialists appropriate for age.
You can start the procedure from two weeks of age.

Remember those plants whose therapy is contraindicated for your children up to certain years:

  • mint up to a year;
  • eucalyptus up to two years;
  • oil of geranium, tea tree, fir, pine, cedar, thyme, wormwood, rosemary, ginger up to three;
  • sandalwood and clove up to 14 years.

The essential oils of aromatherapy and the properties of the oils are given in a table that is very convenient and easy to apply in practice.

Rules for combining essential oils for aromatherapy

How best to mix will tell you the rules for combining essential oils for aromatherapy. Interestingly, when mixed, esters enhance each other's properties. The therapy carried out back in 1976 showed improvements in 1000 people in the treatment of limb arteries with thyme.
And in 1978, the positive results of those who were treated for glaucoma with the same ether were already published. Amazing results, which can only be achieved with the use of healing oils.

Some basic combinations:

  • lavender is universal with everything except rosemary;
  • citrus fruits sound perfect with coniferous oils;
  • rich aroma of eucalyptus or mint can be interrupted by lavender or rosemary;
  • jasmine, ylang-ylang, iris, lavender, neroli, rose and chamomile are a wonderful floral arrangement;
  • Vetiver, cedar and sandalwood add astringency.

When using an essential oil blending table, it is important to consider:

  • If you are creating a composition with a specifically targeted effect, then avoid combining two ingredients that are opposite in purpose. For example, do not combine soothing ingredients with warming and tonic ones.
  • Do not use more than five oils in one mixture.
  • When composing any mixture, diversify it with esters that complement their properties.
  • Make sure you don't have allergies.
  • Follow the rules for combining oils.

Side effects and contraindications

Treatment with aromatic oils can cause various side effects and have contraindications:

  • choking, shortness of breath, shortness of breath;
  • arrhythmia, increased heart rate;
  • dizziness, headaches, tinnitus;
  • redness, itching, allergic reaction.

Pay attention to the list of esters that, if dosed incorrectly, cause:

  • poisoning
    Atlas cedar, basil, eucalyptus, cinnamon leaves, fennel (fennel), orange, lemon, hyssop, thyme, nutmeg;
  • irritation
    black pepper, angelica, citronella, cinnamon leaves, ginger, orange, lemongrass, lemon, lemon verbena, cloves (any part), peppermint, nutmeg;
  • photosensitivity
    bergamot, angelica, orange, lemon, mandarin, grapefruit, limette, petitgrain.

It is not always necessary to immediately go to the hospital with minor symptoms of a disease. Medicines have a strong impact on the vital processes of the body, exerting an irreversible effect.

Alternative medicine, in the form of aromatherapy, can show you the miraculous effect of essential oils on a person. You may not believe it now, but you can only be sure by trying it yourself.

Video: aromatherapy with essential oils

Aromatherapy is a method of alternative medicine, which, according to many, still helps to solve problems. In the first video you can learn a whole master class on aromatherapy, in the second you will learn how you can clean the space with essential oils.

Essential oils are not just odors that are beneficial for mood and health, they also have unique healing properties, they increase the body's resistance to adverse environmental factors, such as ionizing radiation, xenobiotics, carcinogens, are means of preventing diseases, optimizing the air environment, and adaptogens. that increase the body's resistance to adverse environmental factors, etc.

And all this is due to the chemical composition of essential oils.

In the process of photosynthesis, plants build and combine hundreds of organic aromatic molecules from the carbon, oxygen and hydrogen atoms found in the air, soil and water. Each plant contains a unique combination of them (geranium essential oil, for example, contains about three hundred components, rose and citrus - about five hundred, some essential oils contain up to eight hundred components!), thanks to which, by the way, it has its own unique aroma and healing properties. .

All compounds are divided into two large groups - carbohydrates, which are built from terpenes (monoterpenes, cyclic terpenes and diterpenes), and oxygen-containing compounds: esters, aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, phenols and oxides (sometimes acids, lactones, sulfur and nitrogen compounds are also present). ).

The most biologically active are alcohols, aldehydes, ketones and phenols, as well as terpenes and terpenoids. In terms of bacterial activity (strength of antimicrobial action), the components of essential oils are arranged in the following sequence (in descending order): phenols, aldehydes, alcohols, esters, acids.

By mixing two or more essential oils, we get not a simple "sum of substances", the chemicals of each oil, when combined in a mixture, reinforce each other, and the result is a more active substance.

Terpenes (from Latin turpentine) are hydrocarbons, the most common category of organic molecules found in essential oils. They have the suffix -ene (pinene, limonene, camphene).

They have strong anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties.

Terpenes are divided into 3 large groups:

Monoterpenes are present in almost all essential oils (citrus fruits are especially abundant). They are highly volatile, so they evaporate quickly and are not stored for a long time (no more than a year in a cool place). They have antiseptic, analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, diuretic, expectorant, stimulant and skin warming properties.

Terpenes include limonene, camphene, pinene, cadinine, caryophyllin, cedrin, dipentine, phellandrin, patience, sabinene, myrcine. Limonene is the basis of many citrus oils (where its content can exceed 90%!) - lemon, orange, grapefruit, is found in the essential oil of black pepper, fennel. Pinene - in oils of pine and resin, black pepper, eucalyptus, juniper. Camphene - camphor, juniper, pine.

    Sesquiterpenes are less volatile. They have a calming and anti-inflammatory effect (for example, azulene contained in chamomile, yarrow, some types of wormwood), analgesic, sedative, bactericidal, antiviral, lower blood pressure. They are found in the essential oils of clove, chamomile, yarrow and in most oils of plants of the labiate family (sage, mint, oregano, thyme, marjoram, basil, lemon balm, rosemary, lavender); also in essential oils of frankincense, lemon, patchouli, cedar and juniper.

    Diterpenes are found in essential oils in small doses, they are effective as antifungal, bactericidal and expectorant agents (essential oil of jasmine, resins of pine, fir). Some of them have a harmonizing effect on the hormonal system!

Terpenoids. These include alcohols, aldehydes, ethers, ketones and phenols.

Alcohols (names ending in -ol) are one of the most beneficial groups of compounds found in essential oils. Their main general properties are antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-infectious, tonic hemodynamics and nervous system, warming and stimulating, immunomodulatory.

    Monoterpene alcohols, or monoterpenols, are soft, non-toxic, have antibacterial and antiviral properties, an immunostimulating and tonic effect. They are found in lavender (linalol); in rose, lemon, eucalyptus, citronella and geranium (citronellol); in mint (menthol), as well as in nutmeg, pine, palmarosa, neroli, petitgrain, ylang-ylang.

    Sesquiterpene alcohols are less common, have a tonic and stimulating effect; many of them are bacteriostatic, so they are used in deodorants. Contained in essential oils of cedar, rose, ylang-ylang, neroli, sandalwood, frankincense and lemon balm.

    Diterpene alcohols are found in essential oils in very small amounts, but they are very active. Harmonize the hormonal system; firstly, their effect on the body is similar to the action of human hormones, and secondly, they stimulate the production of hormones in the body. For women, they are of particular importance, because. are able to increase the level of estrogen and alleviate those female diseases that are associated with a lack of estrogen in the body (dysfunctions, infertility, menopausal ailments, etc.). They are contained, for example, in clary sage and medicinal (sclareol, salviol).

Aldehydes (names ending in -al or their name includes the word "aldehyde"). It is thanks to aldehydes that plants have an aroma. Aldehydes exhibit a sedative effect, antiseptic properties, provide antiviral activity, hypotensive, antipyretic, vasodilating and relaxing effects. Among them are allergens and sensitizers, i.e. can irritate the skin and cause an allergic reaction. Citral, citronellal and neral are the main aldehydes found in lemon-scented oils (melissa, lemongrass, lemon verbena, lemon eucalyptus, citronella, etc.). Aldehydes are present in lemon, geranium, many essential oils isolated from trees, anise, vanilla, cinnamon bark, patchouli.

Other important components of essential oils include acids, oxides, lactones, coumarins and furocoumarins.

Acids have anti-inflammatory, soothing and analgesic properties. Benzoic acid is found in benzoin, ylang-ylang, geranium - in geranium and rose, salicylic - in birch.

Oxides. The most important oxide is cineole, or eucalyptol, which is present in the essential oils of eucalyptus, rosemary, tea tree, and cajeput.

Coumarins are a group of not very volatile essential molecules that are easily extracted from plants by distillation or simple extraction (for example, from citrus peels). Coumarins have a sedative, antispasmodic and anticonvulsant effect. There are quite a lot of them in the essence of citrus, lavender, immortelle.

Furocoumarins are found in citrus oils (bergamot, orange, etc.) and umbrella oils (angelica roots, etc.) and cause a phototoxic effect on the skin: it becomes very sensitive to sunlight, up to burns.

Furocoumarins, coumarins and loctanes provide antitumor, mucolytic, anticoagulant and sedative effects.

Sedative or hypnotic effects - terpenes (like diazepam: lavender, chamomile), terpenoid alcohols linalol (inhibits the binding of glutamate in the cerebral cortex, like phenobarbital: lavender) and terpineol (lavender), citronelol (lemon, rose, lemon balm , eucalyptus, lemongrass, peppermint, basil, geranium), phenylethyl acetate (neroli), phenylethyl alcohol (geranium, rose), benzyl alcohol (lime), maltol and 2-phenylethanol (chamomile).

Due to their high volatility, essential oils are easily absorbed into the body when inhaled. The strength and duration of their action depends on the volatility of essential oils.

Methods for using essential oils

Treatment with essential oils can be carried out in special rooms where patients inhale air containing natural concentrations of essential oils, take inhalations, massages, aromatic baths and applications.

Essential oils are used for aromatization and disinfection of premises. To do this, use aroma lamps, humidifiers, special aroma diffusers.

Essential oils are highly concentrated substances. Therefore, in its pure form, they are almost never used. The only exceptions are lavender and tea tree oil.

All other essential oils must be dissolved in a special solvent base - vegetable oil (olive, almond, avocado, grape seed, etc., they also prolong the action of essential oils, as they slowly evaporate in air), milk, kefir, alcohol, shampoos, balms, creams. Can also be mixed with salt.

Milk, cream, kefir, yogurt, fatty oil base, as well as honey, wine or vodka are used as a solvent base.

Calculation of the concentration of essential oils:

    0.5-1% - for children, the elderly and debilitated people, pregnant women:

    0.5% is 1 cap. essential oil per 10 ml of base oil 1% o - 1 cap. per 5 ml (respectively, 2 drops per 10 ml; 10 drops per 50 ml).

    2% - standard for most mixtures: 2 drops. per 5 ml base (4:10, 6:15, 20:50 ml).

    3% - for massage: 3 drops. per 5 ml base (6:10, 9:15, 30:50 ml).

    4% - for local massage: 4 drops. per 5 ml base (8:10, 12:15 and 40:50 ml).

    5% - in perfumery and some medicinal ointments: 5 drops. per 5 ml of base oil (respectively, 10 drops per 10 ml, etc.).

Essential oils began to be used by people long before the composition of these compounds became known and studied. The substances got their name due to their volatility, ability to evaporate quickly and fatty oil base, which does not dissolve in water.

The properties of essential oils have found their application in medicinal and cosmetic purposes, and they are used depending on the type and properties of certain oils.

How to use essential oils correctly to get the maximum benefit and not harm the body?

Types and functions of essential oils

Essential oils are aromatic concentrated compounds with a pronounced taste and smell. They are obtained from plant materials - the substances are unevenly distributed throughout all parts of the plant, therefore, to obtain the most concentrated compound, the places of their highest content (flowers, rhizomes, fruits, buds, leaves) are used.

Useful properties and application of various oils differ from each other. Some essential oils are more often used as flavorings to give a special flavor and aroma to food, others are used to treat and prevent diseases, and still others are the basis for creating cosmetics. In aromatherapy, one of the alternative areas of medicine, essential oils are the main way to influence the human body, helping to improve the general condition, cheer up, and relax.

Things to remember when using essential oils:

  • It is not recommended to apply essential oils directly from the bottle to the mucous membranes and skin. Before use, the oil is diluted in base oil, honey or salt. In its pure form, only tea tree and lavender oil can be applied, the rest of the esters can cause a burn.
  • Do not exceed the dosage - this will either lead to burns or severe allergic reactions.
  • If aromatherapy procedures are carried out for the first time, before use, you should make sure that you are not allergic to the components of essential oils. To do this, you should first use half the recommended dosage. If after several procedures there are no negative consequences, you can safely use the full dose.
  • When using oils, you should focus on your own feelings. If you do not like the aroma of the oil, then no matter how useful it is, it will not bring benefits and pleasure.
  • Do not use essential oil without first consulting a specialist. With an excess of active ingredients, acute poisoning can occur.
  • Each oil has its own contraindications for use - you should definitely familiarize yourself with them before use.

The effect of the use of essential oils has a beneficial effect on health, appearance, sexual life, and psychological balance. But they should be used with extreme caution, observing the dosage and rules of use.

What is aromatherapy and how to become beautiful, slim and sexually attractive with the help of essential oils. Types of essential oils and their uses.

Already several millennia ago, the ancients knew about the beneficial effects of essential oils on human health and beauty. Even in the Old Testament, incense such as sandalwood, myrrh, frankincense could be found, and the ancient Egyptians widely used essential oils for embalming, medical and cosmetic purposes. Hippocrates, Avicena and Galen described in their writings the entire spectrum of the use of incense and argued that any disease can be overcome with the help of essential oils.

Types of essential oils

According to the effect on the body, essential oils are divided into cleansing, stimulating, tonic, relaxing, harmonizing, strengthening, refreshing, stimulating, soothing.

When compiling aromatic mixtures, be sure to take into account the effect of each component so as not to use, for example, tonic and soothing oils in one composition.

Aromatherapy rules

Do not apply essential oils to the skin and mucous membranes directly from the bottle. Any oil must be diluted in base oil, salt or honey before use. In its pure form, only lavender and tea tree essential oils can be applied to the skin. All the rest can provoke a severe burn of the skin and mucous membranes.

Do not overdosing. If the instructions say that you need to take 1-2 drops of cinnamon essential oil per 10 ml of base oil, then drip that much. Exceeding the dosage is fraught with allergies or burns.

Before using a new ester, be sure to check if it causes you allergies.

If you are just starting to learn aromatherapy, then reduce the recommended dose of essential oils by half. If after several applications of negative reactions, allergies, discomfort does not occur, then you can safely use the full dose.

Focus on your own feelings. No matter how useful and miraculous the oil would be, but if you do not like its aroma, then you will not benefit from aromatherapy.

Methods for using essential oils

Essential oils are used for cold inhalations, in aroma lamps, for baths, massage. They can be taken orally, as well as mixed with various masks and creams.

For cold inhalations, ether can be inhaled either from a bottle, or apply oil to a tissue, or drop it into a special Mahold inhaler. Inhalations are carried out with closed eyes for no more than 5 minutes. Try to breathe evenly, slowly and deeply.

Before adding the essential oil to the bath, it is pre-mixed with a base or emulsifier. The base can be any base oil that suits your skin type, such as olive oil, almond oil, or hazelnut oil. As an emulsifier, take sea salt, milk, honey or bath foam. The water in the bath should not be scalding hot, otherwise the esters will quickly evaporate, and you will not get the benefits of the procedure.

When using an aroma lamp, you first need to pour hot water into it, light a special candle and only then add oil. Depending on the type of ether, the number of drops varies from 1 to 3. Aromatization of the room is carried out after closing all windows and doors. The aroma lamp should not be lit for more than 20 minutes.

For massage, the essential oil is pre-diluted in the base oil and only then applied to the skin. The combination of massage and aromatherapy has a beneficial effect on the respiratory system and skin. During an aromatic massage, blood circulation improves, lymph stagnation is accelerated, and the functioning of all organs improves.

Essential oils can enrich the composition of ready-made creams and face masks. Oils should be added to a cosmetic product immediately before being applied to the skin. Esters will help to quickly transport the beneficial substances of cosmetic products to the skin cells and several times enhance the effect of a cosmetic product.
