What days of the cycle are the most favorable for pregnancy. "Batter days" and periods of possible conception

The fair sex, on the one hand, is easy to get pregnant, but on the other, it is difficult. Why is there such a duality? Let's turn to physiology. In a woman of reproductive age, it happens every month around the middle of the cycle. This term refers to the release of a mature egg from the ovary. This process takes only 1-2 days.

Many people, after reading the text written above, will probably think that getting pregnant is very simple - you just need to calculate the day of ovulation, and before and after it, have sex with your partner. However, everything is not as simple as it seems. If it was possible to get pregnant strictly in the middle of the cycle, then there would be no unwanted pregnancies and women who dream of a child, but cannot get pregnant for some reason.

On what days is it impossible to conceive a baby?

We are sorry for women who have chosen the calendar method of contraception and refused other means of protection (condoms, various drugs), because there are no absolutely safe days. You can get pregnant at any time. It is only necessary to take into account that on some days the chances of conceiving a baby are great, while on other days they are significantly reduced. There are no periods with zero probability.

A relatively “safe” time can be considered a couple of days before menstruation and a couple of days after them. To calculate "dangerous" days, you need to know the duration of the menstrual cycle. It must be stable - this is the main condition.

With a 28-30-day menstrual cycle, the highest chances of conception occur on the 14-15th day, since ovulation occurs around this time. Deviations are also possible for a number of reasons: due to nervous breakdowns, stress, the presence of diseases, the use of drugs.

How to calculate without errors what days you can get pregnant?

Calculating the days on which you can conceive a child is not so simple. To do this, you need to analyze the entire menstrual cycle, taking data for the last 6-12 months. If hormonal contraceptives were used at that time, the calculation results may be incorrect.

In order not to forget what days menstruation occurs, you should create a special calendar. If the menstrual cycle is not regular, then it will not work to determine which days you can get pregnant. It is best in such cases to use other methods of calculating favorable periods for conception.

If minor deviations are observed during the studied time period, then the following step-by-step calculation can be made:

  1. Select the longest and shortest menstrual cycles for 6-12 months;
  2. Subtract the number 18 from the number of days of a short cycle. The result obtained is the day from which the period with a high probability of becoming pregnant begins. For example, the shortest cycle is 25 days. Subtracting 18, we end up with the number 7. This means that the favorable period for conception begins from the 7th day of the menstrual cycle;
  3. Subtract the number 11 from the number of days of the longest period. The result obtained is the day on which the period with a high probability of becoming pregnant ends. For example, the longest cycle is 29 days. Subtracting 11, we get the number 18. Thus, on the 18th day of the menstrual cycle, the favorable period for conception ends;

From this example, it can be seen that the highest probability of becoming pregnant remains in the period from the 7th to the 18th day.

Is it possible to conceive before menstruation?

An unequivocal answer to this question cannot be given. Conception may or may not occur. First, let's see why the above question can be answered in the negative.

As you know, ovulation occurs in the middle of the cycle. Before the onset of menstruation, the egg dies. If ovulation occurs much later or repeatedly, then an interesting situation may not occur, since the woman's hormonal background will be set to a new cycle.

Now we will explain why conception can occur before menstruation. In healthy women who have an irregular sex life, the chance of getting pregnant is quite high. Conception can occur after any sexual intercourse.

The body can react to such a rare event with unscheduled ovulation. It can also be provoked by substances contained in semen. Women who regularly have sex with a regular partner may not experience this.

Is it possible to conceive during menstruation?

Pregnancy during the first days of menstruation is unlikely. This is due to the unfavorable environment for spermatozoa and for implantation of the embryo (abundant bleeding). However, "surprises" from nature should not be ruled out.

Conception in an unfavorable period can occur in the following cases:

  • with prolonged menstruation (for example, less than a week may remain before ovulation, and then the sperm will wait for the release of a mature egg);
  • due to menstrual irregularities caused by diseases, infections, physical activity, stress;
  • with an incorrect calculation of the period of safe sex (due to the irregularity of the menstrual cycle).

Is it possible to conceive immediately after menstruation?

Many representatives of the fair sex claim that it is impossible to get pregnant within a few days after the end of menstruation. Doctors do not adhere to this point of view. They warn that at any time you can get pregnant.

Spermatozoa entering the female reproductive tract can remain viable and active for several days. If the menstrual cycle is short and the periods are long, then the chances of getting pregnant will be high. Sexual intercourse can just take place during the most favorable days for conception.

Pregnancy immediately after menstruation can occur for the following reasons:

  • due to the ability of spermatozoa to maintain their activity for several days;
  • due to the maturation of several eggs in one menstrual cycle;
  • due to the timing of ovulation. It can happen not in the middle of the menstrual cycle, but much earlier or later. The "culprit" of such disorders in young girls is the irregularity of the menstrual cycle, and in adult women - hormonal abnormalities.

Based on this, we can say that the calendar method is not a reliable means of contraception. For some women, it is not suitable at all.

What period is most likely to become pregnant: ways to determine

You can calculate the most favorable days for conception not only using the calendar method. There are several other more efficient ways:

  1. Determination of basal temperature;
  2. Conducting ovulation tests;
  3. folliculometry;
  4. Subjective feelings.

1. Determination of basal temperature

To calculate the period when the probability of conceiving a child is high, it is necessary to measure the basal temperature in the anus every morning after waking up from the beginning of the menstrual cycle (from the 1st day of menstruation).

Errors can occur for several reasons:

  • due to overwork or illness (during such periods, the temperature is always elevated);
  • if a lot of alcohol was drunk before the measurement;
  • due to taking certain medications;
  • if sexual intercourse occurred 6 hours (or less) before the measurement;
  • due to lack of sleep.

Based on the measured data, a graph should be drawn up, which can be supplemented daily with new results. In the first half of the menstrual cycle, the temperature ranges from 36.6 to 36.9 degrees. It rises above 37 degrees after the release of a mature egg.

You can find out when ovulation occurs if you carefully study the schedule. On days 12-16, the basal temperature may slightly decrease. This will herald the onset of ovulation in the coming hours. That's when you can get pregnant. At this time, women who dream of a baby should have sex.

2. Conducting ovulation tests

Modern and more accurate means of determining the release of an egg are ovulation tests. They even look like tests with which you can find out about pregnancy. The result is shown as 2 bars. The difference between the tests is only in the reagents. For example, ovulation-determining products contain a substance that responds to the presence of luteinizing hormone (LH), the level of which in the body rises 23-36 hours before ovulation.

In order not to miss the long-awaited event, you need to do tests every day and at the same time. After ovulation, the LH level drops significantly, and then the strips begin to show a negative result. Manufacturers that produce ovulation tests put several strips in the package. Due to this, this method of determining favorable days for conception is the most justified and convenient.

3. Folliculometry

Diagnosing the period in which you can get pregnant is very simple. using ultrasound(ultrasound). This method cannot be called economical. It is suitable for those women who want to conceive a child, but they can’t do it.

It is recommended to visit the ultrasound room from the 10th day after the start of the last menstruation. Within a few days, the doctor will evaluate the growth of the dominant follicle in the ovary. When it reaches a size of 18-24 mm in diameter, an egg ready for fertilization will come out of it. The formation of the follicle may not lead to ovulation. It may not break, but regress. Such cases are rare, but they do occur in real life.

The main signs of the onset of a favorable period for conception, which a medical worker sees on a monitor during an ultrasound scan, are a corpus luteum located in the ovary without a dominant follicle, as well as a little fluid behind the uterus.

The quality of the endometrium affects the onset of pregnancy. It is known that an egg fertilized by a sperm must be implanted in the uterine wall for subsequent development. If by the time of ovulation the endometrium does not reach a certain thickness, then pregnancy will not occur, since the fertilized egg will not be able to attach to the uterus and will die.

4. Subjective feelings

This method is not 100% reliable, but many women who are sensitive and attentive manage to determine the days on which the probability of becoming pregnant is high. Every month the sensations are repeated. If you listen to your body, you can draw some conclusions.

The most common signs of the onset of a favorable period for conception are:

  • the occurrence of pain in the lower abdomen or the location of one of the ovaries;
  • sudden increase in sexual appetite;
  • copious vaginal discharge. Any experienced gynecologist can easily notice them. The discharge is different from the symptoms of infectious diseases. They are colorless and odorless. After 2-3 days, the discharge disappears without a trace until the next cycle.

The representatives of the fair sex have 1-2 times a year cycles called anovulatory. They represent a kind of "reboot" of the female body. At this time, it is impossible to get pregnant. It is very easy to determine these days. Here are their main features:

  • when measuring basal temperature, jumps are not observed;
  • The conception calendar is a handy thing that allows a woman to keep track of her menstrual cycle, namely, to determine dangerous and safe days in terms of a possible pregnancy. The calendar of conception of a child is a form in which you must enter the first day of the last menstruation, while the program, using different colors, shows which days are the most "fruitful". Try it, the conception calendar is really very easy to calculate!

    For a better understanding of how the program works, we will present the main factors that were taken into account when creating it.

    1. In the vast majority of women, ovulation (the only day in the month when the egg is ready for fertilization) occurs approximately in the middle of the cycle. Look at the conception calendar - the day of ovulation (exactly the middle of the menstrual cycle), as well as a few days before and after it are highlighted in orange and green.

    2. Fertilization of the egg cannot occur during the days of menstruation, as well as at the very end of the cycle. These "safe" days are represented in pink (see the conception calendar).

    You can also check the accuracy of the data obtained by monitoring your condition during the period of ovulation.

    1. The amount of vaginal discharge will noticeably increase.

    2. Libido (sexual desire) will increase.

    3. You may notice a jump in basal temperature (measured in the rectum), but only if you have built a schedule in advance.

    4. An ovulation test (available at almost any pharmacy) shows a positive result.

    5. There may be short-term, aching pain in the uterus and ovaries.

    6. The doctor, using ultrasound, reveals signs of an egg that has come out of the ovary.

    You can calculate your conception calendar right now! Enter the exact data on the beginning of critical days (exact date) and in a couple of seconds you will receive the necessary information. Note that the data obtained cannot be trusted 100%, nevertheless, our body is a big mystery, and any “little things”, such as stress or a change of place of residence, can affect the processes in it.

    Note also that ovulation does not occur every cycle. Every woman of reproductive age has at least 2 cycles per year "infertile".

    What is ovulation and favorable days for conception?

    What days are considered auspicious? It is easy to understand that it is possible to conceive a child only on a few very specific days of the cycle. All reproductive functions of a woman revolve around this cycle.

    The cycle begins on the first day of menstruation. At this time, the old egg leaves the woman's body, and the new one begins to mature. In the middle of the cycle, a mature egg leaves the ovary in a timely manner and begins to move along the fallopian tube closer to the uterus. The life of a mature egg is about 2 days. If fertilization has not occurred before this time, the egg dies and is released along with menstruation.

    It is easy to understand that these 2 days (while the egg lives) are the most favorable days for conceiving a child,. However, this does not mean that the fateful intercourse should take place only on these 2 days. The life of spermatozoa is somewhat longer - about 5 days. Therefore, favorable days for conceiving a child begin a few days before day X.

    Ovulation calendar

    A calendar of favorable days for conceiving a child can be compiled by each woman on her own. It is enough to know how long her cycle lasts, the day the last menstruation begins. It will be easiest for those women whose cycle is the standard 28 days. It is enough for them to count 14 days from the beginning of the cycle - this will be the approximate day of ovulation.

    Favorable will be 3-4 days before and 2 days after. All these days should be marked on the calendar, preferably in different colors. Usually red indicates the days of menstruation, blue - ovulation, yellow - days favorable for conception, and the rest - black, as unpromising.

    Approximately the same calendar is maintained by adherents of the calendar or natural method of contraception. Only their goal is "safe" days. The ones that are proposed to be marked in black. However, it is worth noting that these days are not really safe. There is a risk of a cycle failure, due to which the egg will mature earlier or later than the indicated time. In this case, conception can also occur on “safe” days, according to the creators of the method.

    Those who have a cycle longer than the standard or shorter than it will be much more difficult to calculate favorable days for conceiving a child. Among other things, too short and too long a cycle are much more prone to failures.

    Basal temperature chart

    For women with an irregular cycle, a basal temperature chart can help. It is known that it constantly changes during the menstrual cycle in a strictly defined way. At the beginning of the cycle, it approximately corresponds to normal body temperature, and closer to ovulation it rises somewhere up to 37 degrees.

    It is this temperature that is most favorable for a mature egg, spermatozoa and a fetal egg. Therefore, it is preserved as long as the egg is alive. If fertilization does not occur, then just before the menstruation, the basal temperature again drops to normal.

    From the point of view of determining favorable days for conception, the basal temperature chart is useful in that it allows you to accurately determine the day of ovulation by increasing the temperature. Especially if the schedule is maintained for at least 3 months. The cycle is repeated over and over again, which allows you to know more or less exactly when ovulation will occur after a few months. And, therefore, favorable days for conception.

    To correctly chart your basal temperature, it is very important to measure it correctly. You need to do this in the morning, without getting up, literally without getting out from under the covers. Even sudden movements are not desirable. Moreover, it is not necessary to have sex before the measurement.

    In addition, it is desirable to take measurements at the same time, some argue that it should match up to a minute. This is due to the fact that the basal temperature rises by about 0.1 degrees per hour, which means that the measurement at different times will also give a different result.

    As already clear from the previous paragraph, the basal temperature is measured rectally. Not only sudden movements can change the temperature. The state of the woman's health, alcohol intake in previous days, poor sleep and much more. All these factors should be recorded on a graph. This helps to weed out irregular temperature changes later on.

    Basal temperature is an accurate, but rather troublesome method for determining fertile days. Not every woman is ready to comply with all these complex rules. Especially if she has a non-standard work schedule.

    It is perfectly possible to measure the temperature of the house at the same time if you have a standard five-day schedule. But what if a woman has a daily work schedule? Or does she work part of the day during the day, and part during the night? But there are a lot of such professions now.

    Here, a calculator of favorable days for conceiving a child can come to the rescue. Using it is quite simple. It is enough to enter the length of your cycle and the exact date of the first day of the last menstruation. The calculator will do the rest. The result will be a calendar indicating the day of ovulation, favorable and unfavorable days and the first day of the cycle. You will only have to rewrite or print this data.

    The online calculator is very convenient. It remains only to repeat that you should not use it to determine the days that are safe for sex. We remind you that cycle failure is not an uncommon occurrence. It can be affected by stress, illness, even alcohol. There is no need to risk your health if you are not planning a pregnancy in the near future.

    I like!

    In most cases, when a couple fails to conceive during a cycle, there are problems with the choice of the day. There is only a certain period of time when a woman can conceive and it can be different for each. To understand what time to conceive a child, you need to monitor the cycle, its stability and the general health of the woman.

    What is the best time to conceive

    The most favorable day for conception is the one in which ovulation occurs. It can be determined using several subjective signs. In the middle of the cycle, a woman may experience short-term pain in the lower abdomen. Also at this time, sexual desire increases, which is just a natural manifestation of a woman's readiness for fertilization. During menstruation, more estrogen is released, which leads to this behavior.

    Many people know that ovulation is the best time to conceive a child, but not everyone understands why this happens. During ovulation, an egg is released that can be fertilized. The rest of the time, even if spermatozoa enter the uterus, conception does not occur. The days before ovulation are also considered auspicious because sperm can live in a woman's body for up to 5 days. These are not the most favorable conditions for the existence of spermatozoa, and many of them die in the first hours, and after a few days they become very small, but sexual intercourse carried out even in 2-3 days can also be effective. The time of conception of the fetus will still be the same day of ovulation, since it is at this time that the egg is fertilized, but sexual intercourse can be carried out a few days before.

    Regardless of the length of the cycle, the best time to conceive a child after menstruation is its middle. If the total cycle is 28 days, then the 14th day will be a favorable day for conception, if 32, then the 16th day, 40 - the 20th day, and so on. Naturally, there may be small errors and this is quite normal. After all, even a stable cycle sometimes goes astray, therefore, an earlier period is a favorable day for sexual intercourse. If the sperm is not very viable, or the internal environment of the vagina and uterus is too aggressive, then here you already need to guess the immediate day of ovulation.

    The best time of day to conceive a child

    If you understand the specific medical indications in this regard, then the time of day is not a very influential factor. The fact is that ovulation can occur both at night and in the morning, afternoon or evening. The best thing is to try to get pregnant exactly at the time when it occurs. For this, the couple has from 12 hours to two days, depending on how long the egg cell lives in the body of a particular woman.

    But if we consider the best time for conception from a practical point of view, then there will undoubtedly be evening and night hours. This is due to the fact that after sex, a woman is not recommended to get up and go anywhere. Before going to bed, following these rules is much easier. If after the end of sexual intercourse you just fall asleep, then the horizontal position will be maintained for several hours. This is quite enough for the penetration of spermatozoa into the uterus. During this period, extreme conditions will not be created, a vertical position that contributes to the pouring of most of the seed from the vagina.

    In addition, this is the most favorable time for conceiving a child, because during sleep the temperature becomes higher, and this contributes to the good activity of spermatozoa inside the body.

    The best time of the year to conceive a child

    It is also difficult to decide on a specific point here, especially since each case has its pros and cons. Therefore, it is worth considering each option separately.

    Conception in summer. The child will appear in the spring, which gives the following advantages:

    • You can gain strength and relax in the first months of pregnancy, which is good, both physically and psychologically;
    • In the summer, there are a lot of natural fruits and vegetables, which helps to supply the body with everything it needs;
    • There is practically no chance of contracting viral diseases;
    • The child in the first months after birth will be in a warm and safe climate.

    But there are also negative points, including:

    • In the spring, many people experience a seasonal weakening of the body, which falls almost in the very last months of pregnancy, up to childbirth;
    • In winter, in the middle of pregnancy, there are a lot of problems with colds and viral diseases, which pregnant women should always beware of.

    Those who believe that the best time to conceive a child before menstruation is autumn, note the following advantages:

    • Small chance of seasonal injury;
    • Lactation falls on a vitamin-rich season;
    • You can arrange a vacation in the velvet season;
    • During conception, there is still the opportunity to get a lot of vitamins.

    Disadvantages:

    • The first half of pregnancy falls during the cold season;
    • In recent months, melatonin is poorly produced;
    • Hot weather in the last months of pregnancy.

    For those who believe that the best time to conceive a child is after menstruation in the winter, there are such advantages:

    • Lactation will be during fortification;
    • The last months will also be rich in vitamins.
    • In the last months of pregnancy, the body produces less melatonin;
    • The onset of pregnancy comes in the midst of various illnesses associated with colds and viruses;
    • After the birth of a baby in the first months there will be maximum cold.

    Conception in the spring. Advantages:

    • Excellent conditions for enduring late toxicosis, as there is no too high temperature;
    • High production of melatonin in recent months;
    • The vitamin reserve is not depleted even by the end of pregnancy;
    • Conception occurs during the heyday of nature.

    Disadvantages:

    • At the time of conception, parents may have a lack of vitamins;
    • In winter, it is not good to walk in the fresh air.

    If a woman realized that she was ready for motherhood, and it was decided at a family council with her husband that it was time to have a baby, couples often wonder when it is better to conceive a child. There are many methods to help determine which days are favorable for conception: calendar and vaginal, test or ultrasound, folk methods or a special calculator. A fairly common technique is the calendar of conception of a child, which will have to be kept for about three months.

    Every parent wants the future baby to be healthy and smart, so spouses often plan in advance, choosing the best time to conceive a child. And often this is not just a favorable period for conception, but also a complex of other factors. The issue of pregnancy requires a responsible approach. Sometimes even the best time of the year matters.

    Attention! Scientists have proven that mothers who give birth to their first baby before the age of 22 have a minimal risk of developing breast cancer.

    Experts consider the 20-26-year period to be the optimal female age when it is better to conceive a child. This is the most suitable period for the appearance of the first baby, because the first birth at the age of 30 can be complicated by unforeseen deviations. And at the age of 20, it is much easier for the body to recover from childbirth, the duration of the postpartum period at this age is shorter and it proceeds much easier.

    Regarding the season when it is better to conceive a child, there are no generally accepted standards. Each season has its pros and cons, so the choice of which month is best to conceive a child is up to future parents. If fertilization occurs in the summer, then childbirth will take place in the spring months, when the woman experiences beriberi and cold attacks, and the last months of pregnancy, when the body will increase the most, will fall during the frost period. Therefore, the calculation should be made taking into account that you need warm clothes of a larger size, because it is necessary for a pregnant woman to walk in the fresh air. And when walking, you will have to take into account the presence of ice, which is dangerous by falling. Therefore, these months are not the most favorable time for the last trimester.

    If the date of conception of a child is calculated for the fall, then the birth will take place in the summer months. The disadvantage of such a pregnancy is the tense first months, when mommy needs to beware of colds and taking medications that negatively affect fetal development. But there is a certain plus in such a pregnancy: the baby will be born in the summer, so you don’t have to wrap the baby in a bunch of clothes and constantly worry about how well he is dressed.

    How is the process of conception

    In order to correctly calculate the best days for conceiving a child, it is worth familiarizing yourself with the process of conception in more detail - how it happens, phases, etc. Conventionally, experts divide the process of conception into several cycles: ovulation, fertilization and transportation of the fertilized egg to the uterine cavity for fixation. A mature egg is required for ovulation to occur. In order for it to ripen successfully, you need the effect of FSH, and for its safe release - luteinizing hormone.

    With a normal hormonal status in the middle of the cycle, a mature female cell leaves the ovary, that is, an ovulatory process takes place, after which, as a rule, the cell is sent to the uterine cavity. The whole process takes several hours, therefore, in order to catch a moment favorable for pregnancy, it is necessary that the sperm is already in the uterus or tube when the egg moves through it. After the release of seminal fluid, sperm can live in the uterus and tubes for another 2-3 days. It turns out that every month a woman during ovulation has the most favorable days for conceiving a child. The duration of these favorable days is about 72 hours.

    So, the ovulation period has passed and the sperm has met with the cell. But in order to become pregnant, the penetration of the spermatozoon through the cell membrane must occur. A group of sperm dissolves this shell and only one penetrates inside, after which the sperm combines with the cell and a zygote is formed, which begins to rapidly divide into many cells that combine into a cavity with a liquid and an embryo inside. All these processes take place while the cell is implanted in the uterine cavity, in order to gain a foothold in it later. Usually implantation occurs on the 20-22nd day of the cycle. After fixing, we can assume that the conception has happened.

    How to determine the optimal date of conception

    Favorable for the conception of a child, sexual intercourse committed just before the start of the ovulatory process, so that the sperm have enough time to get to the cell. If you correctly calculate the date of conception, then pregnancy is sure to happen. If you accurately calculate at what time the cell is released, and actively carry out sexual acts on these days, then the chances of pregnancy will be maximum. How to determine favorable days for conception?

    How to calculate the optimal day for conception? It is necessary to accurately determine the ovulatory period. Since the cell lives only half a day, sexual intimacy a day or two before ovulation is more preferable than after it. After all, sperm need some time to get to the right place. The best way to calculate the day of ovulation, according to most women, is based on measurements in the basal temperature chart and performing special ovulatory tests. In order to accurately calculate the due date for conception, a woman is recommended to keep a basal chart for at least three cycles, determining the exact days of ovulation. Using the data obtained, you can make a calendar for the conception of a child and calculate the optimal days for this.

    Conception calendar - what is it?

    You can make a calendar yourself or use an online application, which also quite accurately allows you to identify dangerous days for women who do not want to get pregnant or favorable days for those who are especially expecting a baby. To roughly imagine the work of such a program, which performs calculations, determining the safe days for conception, the time of ovulation and the best days for pregnancy, let's get acquainted with the factors on the basis of which it was created.

    In almost all women, ovulatory processes occur approximately in the middle of the cycle. The online program makes calculations, revealing the middle of the cycle, and based on the calculated result, determines the favorable and dangerous days for pregnancy. The program also takes into account that fertilization cannot occur at the end of the cycle and during menstruation. These days are considered safe. Such calculators help to determine on what days the next ovulation will occur, menstruation will begin, etc.

    In order to calculate the time of the release of a mature cell according to the conception calendar, you just need to enter data on the last menstruation and the duration of the cycle. The calculator will give results by date of conception, ovulation, when a woman has a good chance of pregnancy, and when having sex will not lead to conception. It cannot be argued that the results issued are impeccably accurate, but they allow us to roughly determine dangerous and safe days for fertilization. The conception of a child on the calendar can be calculated a year in advance, then it will be easier for a woman to navigate when to plan protected or unprotected sexual relations, depending on the ultimate goal. Such calendars are quite easy to use, they often have certain days painted in the right colors, which greatly simplifies the work with the program. Using calendar data, you do not have to look for how to calculate the date of ovulation or conception.

    Is it possible to calculate the gender of the baby

    Different parents approach pregnancy planning in different ways, some are glad that the long-awaited conception happened at all, and for some it is important what gender the children will be born. The conception calendar can even calculate the days when the time is most favorable for conceiving a daughter or son. Such calculations have a completely logical explanation.

    • Spermatozoa containing the male chromosome set are nimble, they move faster and are more active. But such sperm live much less than "tadpoles" with a female chromosome set.
    • If sexual intimacy took place during the ovulatory period (with a 28-day cycle, approximately 14 days before the expected start of the next menstruation), then the likelihood of conceiving a boy increases for the spouses. If the couple really wants to give birth to a girl, then sexual contact is recommended to be made a couple of days earlier.

    But such a rule, unfortunately, does not always work. The fact is that today it is very difficult to find absolutely healthy people, each of the future parents has some kind of health disorder, including reproductive. All this affects the speed of spermatozoa. If a partner has an acid-base imbalance in organic structures, in particular in the reproductive system, or her cervical and vaginal secretion, under the influence of pathological factors, has changed its composition to a more aggressive one for spermatozoa, then their motor activity can seriously decrease. Also, "zipper" lose their rate of fire if a man is in a state of severe physical fatigue.

    So, the time favorable for the desired pregnancy is determined, the spouses are ready, it seems that they did everything right, but conception still did not happen. To increase the chances of successful fertilization, it is recommended to follow some tips.

    Men should avoid hot baths, steam rooms and baths, because excessive heat can have a deplorable effect on spermatozoa and simply destroy them. It is also better for expectant fathers to avoid riding and cycling, which is associated with a negative effect on sperm from constant rubbing of the scrotum. The intake of various kinds of steroid drugs, various stimulants for building muscle mass and other pills that bodybuilders are fond of today is categorically excluded. You will have to refuse to take them at least six months before the planned conception.

    There are also restrictions for women. It is better to give up various attributes for sex, such as stimulating lubricants and creams, because such products often change the vaginal environment, which leads to the death of spermatozoa. Any douching can have a similar effect, so it is also better to refuse them while trying to conceive. The position also matters, for example, with a missionary position, sperm loss will be minimal, but penetration into the vagina, on the contrary, will be maximum. And to consolidate the effect of the partner, it is better to lie down a little on the stomach after sex.
