Canapes with quail eggs and cherry tomatoes. Simple and delicious canapes on skewers for the festive table - photo recipes. Fruit canapés, cheese canapés, meat canapés, holiday sandwiches

Canapés for a buffet table are a fairly popular form of food. The same cannot be said about the buffet table itself - in our country this form is still not as popular as traditional feasts.

The buffet format is used at official events, coffee breaks, conferences and business meetings. The main difference is the absence of chairs, that is, the guest has to take treats from the table and eat while standing. Therefore, canapés become a salvation for guests and event organizers.

Canapés are light snacks made from several ingredients connected with skewers. They are convenient to take, they are filling, but not heavy. The composition of canapés is limited only by the budget and imagination of the cook.

The appetizer can include both sophisticated red fish and simple and affordable herring. Quite often they use bread, sausage and its varieties, and cheese as a base. There are also vegetable and fruit canapés. It’s actually impossible to count the recipes - there are many of them, you just have to choose according to your budget and taste.

Canapes can be used not only for a buffet table. For a usual feast, including at home, this form is also very convenient. It can be used during outings, and also, for example, for fruit snacks on a sweet table.

What is a canapé? These are small and very tasty looking sandwiches. You can give them any shape using trimmed molds and even a pastry syringe (you will find an example in this article), and fasten small pieces using multi-colored skewers.

It’s hard to even imagine a more elegant dish than a dish with beautiful (and, mind you, very tasty!) canapes. Children adore them, so for children's parties canapés will be the best choice for the central dish on the festive table.

But adults also love this wonderful snack - it looks appetizing, the flavors are very diverse, and there is no risk of overeating - because the canapés are very small in volume. Therefore, on any holiday table, not to mention New Year’s, a dish with canapés must be placed.

But you will also have to tinker with the preparation. There is no particular difficulty, but everything needs to be done carefully; by the way, you can invite children to cook - for them, collecting multi-colored canapes will be like an exciting game. After all, in essence, a canape is a construction set, and products are its parts.

All that remains is to assemble our food structures so that everything looks appetizing and beautiful, as in the photo below.

Today we’ll look at 7 simple recipes for delicious and beautiful canapés. So let's get started.

Cherry tomatoes are an ideal product for creating canapés, small and appetizing. We will also need wheat croutons (you can buy ready-made ones, or you can dry them yourself; if you don’t like croutons, just cut pieces of white bread). Parsley sprigs, mustard and thin slices of smoked bacon.

Assembly is very simple. Spread a slice of bread with mustard, roll up the bacon and place it on the bread. Place a sprig of greenery on top and press with your finger. The tomato, already strung on a skewer, is pricked at the top. All! The first one went...

For this type of canapé we will need pieces of white loaf, thinly sliced ham, round cucumber slices, small canned champignons and mayonnaise with eggs (grid the white and yolk separately). Yes, there is also a green note - a sprig of parsley.

You will also need skewers and a cookie cutter; we will use it to cut out the base of the bread. One piece of loaf makes 2 canapé bases.

Thread a small champignon mushroom onto a skewer in advance. Place a slice of fresh cucumber on a piece of figuratively cut loaf.

It is better to buy bacon in slices or ask the store to cut a whole piece for you, since it is unlikely that you will be able to cut it evenly and thinly yourself. Place half a spoonful of mayonnaise and grated egg white on one side of a slice of bacon. Wrap the bacon in a roll.

Now dip each end of our roll in mayonnaise and yolk.

Add a sprig of parsley between the mushroom and the roll. We pierce all this with a skewer to secure it. The second version of the canapé is ready.

This type of canapé is probably the most difficult to prepare, since we need to make a round slice of bread, potatoes and also make an intermediate layer of soft white cheese.

We need Borodino bread - black and fragrant. Onions - feathers, potatoes need to be boiled in their skins and not peeled before slicing, so that it is easier to form our circles. We will remove the seeds from the herring using tweezers and cut it into rectangular pieces - as in the photo, not small.

Another important element is a pastry syringe or any other large syringe - it will be convenient for them to form layers of canapés of the same shape, the appearance of our sandwiches will be very neat due to the smooth edges.

First, cut the boiled jacket potatoes into medium-thick slices.

Now use a syringe to squeeze out the round piece from Borodino bread. Using your finger, lightly press the bread layer inside the syringe to make room for the cheese layer.

Using a teaspoon, scoop up the cheese and press it on top of the bread into our syringe.

Using a syringe mold, squeeze out another round piece from the potato.

Now we cut off the onion feather to the same length as our piece of herring and “sail” it on a skewer.

Now - the most interesting part. We stick a skewer into the middle of the potato round and with a careful but clear movement we squeeze out our round canope with a piston.

This is roughly what it looks like.

And here is the beautiful end result -

Let's take a few slices of white loaf, lightly salted red fish (by the way, I recently posted a gorgeous one - be sure to check it out), pieces of pickled ginger, butter, lemon and dill.

Finely chop the green dill and mix with a piece of softened butter.

Cut the loaf into circles using any suitable shape.

Spread this butter on the bread and place a slice of lemon on a skewer.

Place a piece of ginger on one edge of the fish slice and roll it into a roll. Place the roll on the greased bread and prick the top with a skewer and lemon.

Very simple and very tasty!

Everything here is very simple - pre-cut hard cheese, bell peppers, pieces of canned pineapple into thick squares and open a jar of pitted black olives.

We assemble the structure on a skewer - prick an olive, pineapple, a piece of pepper and at the bottom - the base, cheese.

A very simple canape, but it looks very beautiful!

Let's prepare long thin rectangular strips of raw smoked sausage, slices of loaf, Philadelphia cheese or similar, slices of fresh green cucumber, pitted olives and sprigs of dill to decorate our canapés. Well, and skewers, of course, where would we be without them!

We cut out rounds from the loaf using molds. Spread each circle of bread with cheese.

Place a slice of cucumber and a rolled sausage roll on top.

We place a sprig of dill on the roll, use a skewer with an olive previously stabbed on it, and pierce our entire multi-story structure.

As they say, sleight of hand and no fraud :)

In this canape recipe, ours will do without skewers - you won’t need to pierce anything. All we need is ready-made small tartlets, Philadelphia cheese, dill and, of course, red caviar.

Use a spoon to fill each tartlet with cheese mixed with finely chopped dill. Spoon red caviar on top.

If you make at least 5-6 pieces of each type of canapé, we will get a magnificent, bright, picturesque and very appetizing dish, which, most likely, your guests and household members will be the first to empty. After all, such beauty on the festive table is difficult to ignore :)

Appetizer with olives, mozzarella and salami.

Very simple canapés on skewers for a festive table, it couldn’t be simpler.

Ingredients:

  • Olive;
  • Mozzarella;
  • Parsley.
  • Salami.

Everything is quite simple. You need to cut the cheese and salami to the size of the olives. Next, we take sausage as a base, then parsley, cheese and olive. We fasten everything together with a skewer or toothpick.

Here is another simple option, but very cool:

Canapes with Mozzarella and cherry tomatoes.

Ingredients:

  • Mozzarella cheese;
  • Cherry tomatoes;
  • Basil leaves.

Cut the cheese into cubes the size of the tomatoes, even a little smaller. Now we have a tomato at the bottom, then cheese and a basil leaf. Autumn looks cool.

Cheese and ham canapes.

Sometimes the canapés don't look the same as they usually do, layer by layer. You can also make small rolls and fasten them with a skewer. Like this recipe, for example.

You can also do this not with ham, but with bacon. But they will have to simmer a little in the oven, we wrote about this in the post:

Everything here is elementary, the main thing is to cut the ham very thinly and into long strips. Wrap the pieces of cheese and secure with a skewer or toothpick. You can decorate with greenery.

Shrimp appetizers.

A special chic in appetizers is shrimp. They not only look beautiful on canapés, but are also incredibly tasty. I advise everyone to prepare canapés on skewers for a festive table with shrimp.

Shrimp with tomatoes.

Let's look at one of the simplest recipes. But they look simply amazing.

We will need:

  • Boiled shrimp - 10 pcs;
  • Small or cherry tomatoes - 4-5 pcs;
  • Bread, preferably toast - 3-4 pcs.

Step 1.

Of course, the shrimp must be boiled. It's better if they are large.

Step 2.

Cut the tomatoes into slices. It is necessary that they all be as similar in size as possible.

Step 3.

In toast bread, cut out rounds the size of tomatoes and slices. But you can cut any other shape. Dry the bread a little in the oven and cool.

Step 4.

Now we simply place a tomato and shrimp on each piece of bread and fasten with a skewer. You can decorate the top with greenery.

This appetizer always sells out very quickly, so you can prepare more of it.

Shrimp with grapes.

This type of snack is also very simple, but looks very impressive.

It is better to take grapes without seeds. And everything is done very simply. I think everything is clear in the photo without description. Just two ingredients and beauty. The same can be done with cancerous necks.

Ingredients:

  • Shrimps;
  • Fresh cucumber;
  • Cream cheese;

Cut the fresh cucumber into thin slices diagonally.

Step 3.

Now grease the cucumber with cream cheese, put the olive inside and fasten with a skewer.

Step 4.

Decorate with shrimp as in the photo. You can also decorate with greenery.

It is advisable to use large shrimp in this recipe, but small ones also work well:

You can also do the same thing, but with small shrimp, but use the bread as a base and remove the olives, put everything on a skewer.

And here's another recipe:

Fruit canapes.

These are the simplest types of canapés on skewers for a festive table, they only act as a dessert. You don’t need to prepare anything in particular, just see in the picture how and what, cut it and you can experiment yourself. But you can decorate the table in different ways.

But fresh fruits can be put on a skewer without a base, as they are denser in structure. But with canned ones it’s better not so, they need a base, usually crackers.

There is nothing special to describe here, just take a look and maybe you will have your own ideas on how to make everything even more interesting.

Here, too, everything is quite simple, the main thing is to adjust the fruit to one size (cut) and put it on a plate, since it turned out to be a tall snack and will not stand. You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

And here are the original New Year's fruit canapés, just like Santa Claus's hat.

The next batch is simply finger-licking good. In fact, you can put any fruit on a skewer and pour glaze on it. Then let it sit in the refrigerator so that the glaze cools down and can be served.

Well, here everything is quite simple, but colorful.

In conclusion:

That's all for us. Of course, I would like to cover many more recipes, but there are so many of them that it’s impossible to count them all. I hope you liked our selection and you will choose something for yourself or maybe you have your own ideas? Share your ideas with us in the comments and tell us about us on social networks. Canapés are original mini-sandwiches that were invented by French chefs several centuries ago. The dish quickly became popular, and today not a single buffet or dinner party is complete without it. A canape is a miniature structure consisting of several products placed one on top of the other in a certain sequence. The base can be fried bread, vegetables or mushrooms. It all depends on the specific recipe. Particular attention should be paid to the canapes with quail eggs. Anyone can learn to cook them.

Canapes with caviar

  • 5 quail eggs.

This dish takes no more than 10 minutes to prepare. During this time, the housewife must perform several simple operations:

  5. Apply a layer of pate on top.
  6. Decorate the sandwich with half an egg, herbs and peas.

Canapes with eggs and tomatoes

The same French at one time came up with special devices (skewers) with which you can eat mini-sandwiches without getting your hands dirty. True, at first they were used more as decoration. Canapes with bacon

  2. Cut the salmon into pieces of the same size.
  3. Place them on each piece of bread.
  4. Apply a layer of cheese on top. To do this, you can use a pastry bag or syringe.
  5. Thread the egg onto a skewer.
  6. Place it on top of the cheese and pierce the entire structure through.

All you have to do is place the finished canapés on a serving plate. To make the dish look more impressive, you can line it with lettuce leaves.

Cucumber canapes

Many people like canapé recipes with quail eggs on skewers, where vegetables serve as the base. The combination of products is not quite familiar, but quite pleasant to the taste. To work you need:

  • 1 cucumber;
  • quail eggs (8 pieces);
  • cream cheese;
  • red caviar.

Sandwiches are prepared in literally 5 minutes:

  1. First you need to set the eggs to boil. You should not keep them in boiling water for a long time. Otherwise they will turn out tough and tasteless.
  2. At this time, you need to wash the cucumber and cut it crosswise into 16 circles. They will be the basis for future canapés.
  3. Peel the eggs and divide each of them into 2 parts.
  4. Grease the cut area generously with cheese.
  5. Put some caviar on it.
  6. Place the egg on top of the cucumber and pierce them together with a skewer.

The result will be a very elegant sandwich, which will also be quite tasty. This canapé can be immediately put into your mouth and quickly chewed without using dishes or cutlery.

What are canapés, how to prepare and serve them. Sweet canapé recipes. Canapes for New Year and birthday.

The word "canapé" is of French origin (canap?). A miniature snack is a more refined and festive version of sandwiches. It is difficult to do without them at a buffet table or a festive feast.

It would seem that what could be simpler than sandwiches? But knowledge of recipes and imagination will help turn a snack dish into an appetizer that will decorate the table and delight everyone who is at it with its original taste.

What is a canapé?

Sandwiches are a whole group of dishes. It also includes canapes - bread croutons with filling, usually with a beautiful presentation or on a skewer.

IMPORTANT: A skewer (atle) is both a decorative and functional element of a canape.

Firstly, it decorates the dish (skewers can be wooden, bamboo, metal, shaped, colored plastic, etc.).

Secondly, by holding a skewer, you can put the mini-sandwich directly into your mouth without getting your hands dirty with the filling.
The size of the canape is small. It is supposed to be eaten at one time, whole, without cutting or biting

  1. The weight of a small crouton with filling ranges from 60 g to 80 g
  2. Canapés can be filled with anything: meat, fish, pate, cheese, vegetables. There are also sweet versions of the dish
  3. If canapés are served at a buffet table, there may not be skewers on them. Sandwiches are then eaten with your hands
  4. Croutons for appetizers should be very thin, 5 - 7 mm. They are fried in olive oil or dried in the oven.
  5. The shape of the croutons, acting as a substrate, can be very different - rectangular, triangular, round, figured
    In addition to bread, the base for canapés can be vegetables or fruits, crackers, chips, cheese, sweet cookies, and other products
  6. Sandwiches for a buffet table can have several layers of filling. The most convenient and “combinable” to taste are three-layer canapés.
  7. Some experimenters manage to build real “high-rise buildings”, which, unfortunately, cannot always fit into the mouth. And choosing five or six products whose tastes would combine harmoniously is also very difficult

IMPORTANT: The fact that the canapé should be based on crouton, and not a piece of fresh bread, has practical significance. Toasted or dried bread does not get soggy from the filling, the sandwich retains its presentable appearance throughout the entire event

There are several rules for serving canapés:

  1. Mini sandwiches are served cold. It is even recommended to keep them in the refrigerator for some time in order to harmonize the tastes of the products mixed in the filling.
  2. Canapés are served on wide platters. You can also use special shelves. They are laid out in large quantities and, as a rule, in one layer. But some creative chefs manage to make real sculptures out of canapés
  3. There must be napkins next to the canapés.
  4. Skewers can be inserted into sandwiches right away or cups with them can be placed near the dishes so that the guest can self-serve
  5. At the moment when the guests sit down at the table, the buffet version of the sandwiches should already be served
  6. They eat canapes with alcoholic, low-alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, including tea
