Treatment of damage and witchcraft according to the Koran. Witchcraft and its treatment in Islam: what you need to know

Many have probably heard about the evil eye, about how it affects a person and his property. However, some do not believe in this, while others, on the contrary, pay excessive attention to this phenomenon. What does Islam say about this? Does the evil eye exist or not? If it exists, how can you protect yourself from it? We will try to answer all these questions with the help of Allah.

Does the evil eye exist?

Yes, the evil eye exists. The Qur'an and Sunnah speak of him and his influence. Allah in the Qur'an, in Surah Yusuf (verses 67-68) said:

Meaning: " Do not enter through one gate (to Egypt), but enter through different ones (so that the sons are not jinxed). I will not be able to prevent (and divert) from you the decisions of Allah in anything, truly there is no decision except with Allah, I trust in Him and those who hope in Him trust. When they (the sons) entered through different gates, as the father commanded them, who could not prevent the decision of Allah, however, Yakub had a need that came true (removal of the evil eye and preservation of the sons), truly he is the owner of the knowledge that was taught (Allah taught) it, but most of the people do not understand this».

Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) in the interpretation of this verse writes: “Allah warned the Prophet Yakub (peace be upon him) when he gathered in Egypt with his sons, so that they would not all enter through one gate, but enter through different ones, for the inhabitants The Egyptians may jinx them because of their delight in front of them, because they were beautiful, wealthy people and pleasant in appearance. Yakub was afraid for his sons, because he knew that the evil eye exists - it is known that the evil eye can knock over even a rider from a horse.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

العين حق

Meaning: " The evil eye is the truth

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

استعيذوا بالله من العين فإن العين حق

Meaning: " Beware of the evil eye, resorting to Allah, verily the evil eye exists "(Ibn Majah, No. 3508).

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

العين حق، ولو كان شيء سابق القدر سبقته العين وإذا استغسلتم فاغسلوا

Meaning: " The evil eye is true, and if something unexpected happens, it is because of the evil eye; if you need to swim, then swim "(Imam Muslim). The meaning of the words "... if you need to swim ..." is as follows: if you were asked to swim in order to remove the evil eye because you have jinxed a believer, then do not refuse.

Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

إن العين لتوقع بالرجل بإذن الله، حتى يصعد حالقاً: فيتردى منه

Meaning: " The evil eye that has fallen on a person acts in such a way that a person can climb a high area and jump from there (without realizing what he is doing) "(Imam Ahmad, Abu Yahya).

There are many hadiths indicating that the evil eye does exist. We will limit ourselves to the above arguments, so as not to lengthen the story. Of course, everything happens by the will of Allah and only Allah can protect. However, a person forgets that one must turn to Allah, obey him, and the Almighty will protect Him.

Scientists about the essence of the evil eye: what is it?

An interesting phenomenon is the evil eye. What is it and how does it affect a person? Hafiz Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Hit and influence of the evil eye - the truth, by the command of Allah "("at-Tafsir", 410 pages, 4 vols).

Asir (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The evil eye enters through the hostile or envious look of one person at another, and the one who gets this look becomes ill for this reason. ” (“an-Nihayat”, 332 pages, 3 volumes).

Scientists say that you can jinx with a glance, touch, when meeting a person, through spells, a person’s spiritual aura, and even through a prayer (a bad prayer for another).

Evil eye treatment

There are many Sunnah treatments for the evil eye. Here are some of them that can be done in everyday conditions.

1) Bathing the one who jinxed, and pouring this water on the one who was jinxed. When the one who jinxed was identified, it is necessary to command that he bathe, and then that the victim of the evil eye bathe with this water.

Abu Umama ibn Sahl ibn Hanif (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Amir ibn Rabiya bathed at the command of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) because he jinxed Abu Sahl ibn Hanif, and then Sahl was poured with the same water and he was healed" (Imam Ahmad, al-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, Imam Malik).

2) Laying a hand on the head of the patient and reading:

بسم الله أرقيك من كل شيء يؤذيك ومن شر كل نفس أو عين حاسدة الله يشفيك بسم الله أرقيك

The meaning of this dua: “In the name of Allah, I conjure you from everyone who harms you, from the soul or eye of those who envy you, and that Allah has cured you, I conjure in the name of Allah” (Imam Muslim).

3) Laying hands on the sick and reading:

بسم الله يبريك ومن كل داء يشفيك ومن شر حاسد إذا حسد ومن شر كل ذي عين

Meaning: " In the name of Allah, Who cleanses you, and heals you from every disease, and from the harm of the envious, when he envies, and from the harm of the eye, if he jinxes "(Imam Muslim). This dua should be recited seven times.

4) Laying a hand on the head of the patient and reading:

اللهم رب الناس أذهب البأس، واشف أنت الشافي، لا شفاء إلا شفاؤك، شفاء لا يغادر سقما

Meaning: " Oh Allah! Take away the harm and cure, because You are the Healer, and there is no treatment except Your treatment, the treatment that does not leave the disease"(Imam al-Bukhari, Imam Muslim).

5) Laying a hand on a diseased organ and reading Surah al-Ihlyas (Kulhu), al-Falyak and an-Nas - seven times each. (Reported by Imam al-Bukhari.)

There are many methods, the main thing is that the treatment is carried out by the Koran and with hope only in the Almighty, otherwise everything will be in vain.

What type of people does the evil eye come from?

You need to know that the evil eye comes as a result of surprise and delight in front of something, respectively, it can also come from a good person. For example, the evil eye can come from a person to his children, wife, if he is overly delighted and surprised by his family.

In order not to jinx it, a person should, as soon as he sees a thing that pleased or surprised him, praise the Almighty and wish for grace. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If you saw something amazing in your brother in faith or in yourself, then ask Allah for grace, indeed the evil eye exists” (Imam Ahmad, Ibn Majah, Malik).

That which comes from an evil, greedy, blasphemous person is called envy. It appears as a result of hatred for another person. For example, a friend has a new apartment, and the person looked at this apartment very enviously and thought: “Why did Allah give him and not me?” - etc.

May Allah protect us from any harm!

Any faith has its own methods and ways to get rid of evil intent. In Arab countries, reading the Koran from the evil eye and corruption is used, which helps to overcome difficulties in life and the anger of envious people. Any Muslim can resort to the help of Allah by reading the scripture. Daily prayers will save a person from the tricks of shaitans and other dark forces. Anyone can become a victim of the evil eye or corruption. Fortunately, in the world there are an infinite number of ways to get rid of someone else's hatred. How to read correctly and what is needed for this?

Action from reading scripture how to read?

A believing Muslim, in general, according to his rules and laws that Sharia ascribes to him, does not have the right to use magic. The Quran for a person is a means of protection from the entire outside world, a way of uniting with God. Turning with prayers to Allah, a Muslim asks for protection and forgiveness. The Koran from the evil eye and corruption should be read not only when everything in life is bad and hands have already dropped to do something. It is supposed to resort to prayer every day, then the shaitans will bypass you, and for your righteous deeds and behavior, you will be rewarded according to your deserts.

Even though the traditions and concepts of Muslims do not provide for the use of magic, forbid it and punish the atheists, they still do not deny the possibility of healing through magical influence, only if it comes from reading a separate sura and ayah. How to properly read and use the power of scripture:

  • most importantly, to be a deeply religious person and clearly see how the reading of the Qur'an brings benefits and deliverance;
  • perform the morning prayer;
  • if you feel a bad influence from people or genies, immediately start reading the Qur'an from a strong evil eye;
  • before reading, wash hands, feet and face;
  • pray with pure thoughts, pronounce words thoughtfully: phrases and sayings that you do not understand should be asked again from knowledgeable people in the mosque.

By itself, the Holy Book of the Quran is a powerful amulet. Sometimes just one touch is enough to get a cleansing energy flow. In moments of despair, open the Koran on the right page, touch the verse, you will feel a surge of strength.

Protection from evil

The faith of Islam forbids witchcraft, and believes that there is no better protection than faith in Allah and keeping his commandments. Do not believe the unfaithful sorcerers who are misleading with stories that they serve good spirits, because any professing of Islam knows that healing comes only from prayers. There are no good genies, and everything that does not come from God's will is a great sin.

The Qur'an is the best defense against evil and the salvation of your soul and body from evil. If, due to the fact that you are unable to read the verses from the book due to the daily bustle, then you can listen to them. Mishari Rashid is one of the best Quran reciters in the business. Al-Afasi has a specialization in reciting the scriptures in ten styles. After listening to his dua, you will receive a charge of vivacity and healing from damage and illness.

Islam forbids the use of witchcraft rites in order to save oneself from corruption, but how can one save oneself from such a scourge? According to an old belief, the prophet Mohammed himself experienced the evil spell that evil sorcerers cast on him. A dozen hairs were wound on a comb - the strongest conspiracy, done on misfortunes and misfortunes. All-seeing God sent an angel to the prophet with prayers. Mohamed adopted the verses, reciting which cast out evil. With every word, healing from witchcraft came, and hairs flew off the comb, so he managed to cleanse his soul and heal his body.

What is the evil eye?

What is the evil eye in the concept of a Muslim? In Islam, it is believed that successful individuals are most susceptible to damage and the evil eye. A beautiful face will always be the object of envy or admiration of others; the fair sex and their families involuntarily suffer from this. Even reluctantly, a person can harm another, admiring the beauty of a girl or a man, you can call trouble on their heads. Therefore, women, so that no one would envy their beauty, are supposed to wear as many clothes as possible. And in any case, do not put on display. Without exception, all believers of Islam are supposed to perform namaz. This is especially true in such cases:

  • if you became an object of admiration or someone was very happy with your well-being;
  • or vice versa, you feel that you discussed the person too vehemently and could unwittingly jinx him.

In such cases, a rite of ablution should be performed. Immediately, wash your fingers and toes, elbows. Wash your face and inner thighs. It is recommended to do such a ritual more often in order to remove the tricks of witchcraft from yourself. If you know who is the culprit of your troubles, ask him to take a bath. By this he will save you from torment, and himself from sin. Not a single legitimate admirer of Islam will refuse you such a ceremony.

The power of healing

What is the power of reading the Koran from the evil eye and damage? Frequent use of scripture commandments will help:

  • find peace and tranquility;
  • will give strength;
  • energize for a long time;
  • bring joy to your heart;
  • will make you forget all the sorrows;
  • heal from bad intention;
  • protect from evil eye.

You can use the help of prayer anywhere: at home, on the street, at work, on a walk. By reading verses and suras from the Koran, you get closer to God, show your reverence and love. Every day, starting with a prayer, reading or listening to a dua during the day, you get cleansing and a surge of vigor. The words of scripture form an invisible shield around you, protecting you both during the day's work and during the night's sleep.

The most important thing is keeping God's commandments throughout life. Follow the path of goodness and truth. Leave everything bad outside of your home. Do not bring discord and bad mood accumulated over the whole day into your home. Use the power of preaching against evil and recklessness.

The most powerful surahs against diseases and spoilage

Of course, not every person can read the Koran by heart, and reading the original is also not expected. How to protect yourself and your family from witchcraft and disease?

  1. Al-Ikhlas - sura 112 sounds like this: “There is no one who could be equal to Him. He is the only one: he did not give birth and was not born. Our God is one and eternal."
  2. Surah al-Falyak 113 contains the following words in its text: “I resort to my Lord every hour. He will dispel the evil that he once did, when darkness sets in, when sorcerers spit on knots, when the envious person dies of envy.
  3. The words of the one hundred and fourteenth sura An-Nas sound like this: “(Your name) - I am the one who began with the name of the merciful and merciful Allah. Lord, I beg for protection from evil people, from the tempter who disappears, who brings evil thoughts into my chest. Save from the evil eye, sent to the disease from the tempters with help.

Any Muslim who observes the commandments and adheres to a righteous life can read such lines from diseases, the evil eye and corruption. There are many verses given by Allah to heal the sick. Reading can be reproduced by relatives of the patient or directly by the person suffering from pain. Ask the mosque for help, they will tell you what you need to read in this or that case.

Reading the Quran from the evil eye and corruption is a completely working technique that allows any true orthodox Muslim to get rid of evil spells without resorting to witchcraft. Any other methods of getting rid of witchcraft are dangerous and unreliable from the point of view of the holy book.

Every Muslim knows that Islam is extremely negative about any manifestations of witchcraft, be it fortune-telling, various conspiracies, and even seemingly good and completely harmless methods that get rid of evil spells and heal the body and spirit. Indeed, in fact, any witchcraft is an appeal to evil spirits: ifrits, shaitans, or even to Iblis himself. Nevertheless, the Koran does not deny the existence of magic in general and witchcraft rites in particular - even the Prophet Mohammed at one time fell victim to a terrible corruption brought upon him by ill-wishers. Many sorcerers and seers wanted to offer him their help, but the Prophet believed only in the power of Allah, oh refusing the temptation to be cured of suffering with the help of evil spells.

And Allah gave him such an opportunity, telling the Prophet through his angels a few verses, during the reading of which all witchcraft disappeared literally before our eyes. According to legend, damage was done to Mohammed with the help of ten of his hairs tied on a comb. Each time the Prophet recited a dua from corruption and the evil eye, one of these hairs was untied, and Mohammed himself became better.

Therefore, you should not believe the sorcerers who say that they cooperate with good genies, because all good genies follow the Will of Allah and will never lead a devout Muslim to commit a sinful act of witchcraft.

The Koran from the evil eye and damage is the best protection!

If a faithful Muslim regularly reads the Koran, and most importantly, fulfills all the instructions specified in the holy book without violating the Will of Allah, then he need not worry. Constant reading of the Book creates an incredible energy cocoon around a person, making him inaccessible to any evil, and if any failures happen to such a believer, then these can only be tests sent by the Almighty to test the faith of this person and then reward him a hundredfold if he survives. Nevertheless, in the modern world, it is far from always and not everyone can succeed not only in fulfilling, down to the smallest detail, the instructions of the Koran, but even reading this book too often. Of course, this does not mean that you will fall into the arms of Iblis for your sins, but nevertheless, your divine protection will not be so strong.

And this means that any ill-wisher who does not disdain to hobnob with ifrits and shaitans can take advantage of your position, which means that he can easily inflict damage on you, which doctors will be powerless to heal. Almost always, damage and evil eye are accompanied by serious illnesses, quarrels with loved ones, but Allah is great and favorable, so the true way of healing is under the eyes of every Muslim. This is the Quran. A long reading of the Quran can not only remove any extraneous influences, but also increase self-esteem, raise the spirit and give new strength for life and vigorous activity, bringing a person one step closer not only to paradise, but also to a happier and more prosperous life.

It is worth noting that the reading of the Qur'an in the original - in Arabic has true power. Of course, if a person does not know it, then reading translations will also have a certain power, but this cannot be compared with the true grace of knowing the Will of the Almighty and the life of his Prophet, written in the true language of Mohammed. However, reading the Quran in the original is only for those who really know the language well and understand every word written there, because the Holy Book was given to people so that they could not only believe the words of the Prophets, but also reinforce their faith with knowledge of the true truth. , while each translation slightly, but changes the essence of Scripture, leaving many nuances not fully disclosed.

The evil eye in Islam - how is it interpreted?

First of all, according to the Qur'an, the evil eye affects beautiful people who may be envied by others or even simply surprised at their beauty and praised them. So, even the most pious and respectable Muslim, not wishing harm to anyone else, can jinx him, admiring the beauty, wealth, luck or happy family life of this person. And, of course, no one wants to take on such a sin, so all Muslims are ordered to perform ritual ablution as often as possible. If you feel that you could jinx someone, you should immediately wash your hands, toes, elbows, knees, face and inner thighs with water, washing off such a manifestation of witchcraft from yourself. If you jinxed someone unintentionally, then these actions will be enough to wash away the guilt, and the person struck by your gaze will be saved from torment.

It is because of female beauty and the danger to them, and therefore to the whole family, that the evil eye, Islam prescribes them to wear as closed clothes as possible. However, despite the less rigid rules regarding men, they should also not show off their body to others, especially if Allah has given them really noticeable beauty, strong muscles or just a strong family. Yes, many family holidays and a generally rich and happy life together can also be the cause of the evil eye. Therefore, you should not take your happiness outside the home, and if many people already know that everything is fine in your family, you should appear in public together as rarely as possible, but walk in different ways and one by one.

But not only a person can jinx it. The evil eye can also be sent by genies. People cannot see them, while genies have the ability to influence our world. Just like people, their evil eye can be unintentional, however, the danger from it is even greater. To save yourself from such misfortunes, in addition to reading the Koran, and in particular some specific verses and suras from the evil eye, you can use the Islamic Hamsa amulet, otherwise called the hand of Fatima.

If you feel that you were jinxed, you suddenly fell ill - first of all, think about who could envy you or be surprised at your abilities or appearance, and ask this person to take a swim. No devout Muslim will refuse you such a request. In the same way, you should not refuse anyone such desires, since you yourself cannot find out in any way about whether you have ever put the evil eye on someone. Many modern Muslims consider such a human ability to be a kind of test from Allah, which both the person who has been jinxed and the one who could bring illness with their eyes must pass.

Quran treatment for witchcraft, corruption and evil eye

How can you learn how to remove the evil eye in a Muslim way, but you don’t have the opportunity to reread the Koran in the original? You can be helped by individual verses from the evil eye, sent by the angel Jabrail to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). This hadith easily helped the Prophet himself, who experienced much greater difficulties in his life than any of us, so his action will certainly be able to remove even the strongest damage:

Bismillahi arkika min kuli shayin yuzika min sharri kuli nafsin aw aini hasidin Allahu mifika bismillahi arkika.

In addition to this prayer, there are many others that can help both in removing evil spells from oneself, and suitable for the treatment of close friends or relatives, especially if they do not have the opportunity and strength to pray on their own when the situation has become completely critical.

The use and analogy of the old Russian method of treatment, which consists in applying plantain to sore spots, can help with illness. It may seem strange, but one touch of the holy scripture, especially the old and written in Arabic, can heal many diseases, especially various skin diseases, outwardly noticeable ulcers, rashes and boils, which are often signs of manifestations of Shaitanism. This is easy to explain - not a single evil spirit can stand close proximity to the words of the Prophet.

Separately, it is worth noting that prayers will help a person in any case, and even if no visible effects occur the first time, this is not a reason to stop self-medication and turn to various healers and sorcerers. Where would it be better to go to the hospital - modern medicine is capable of much, but without the Will of Allah, a cure will not happen - most accidents and unfortunate coincidences in the work of doctors are associated precisely with the patient’s insufficient faith, while prayer helped save a person even in the most difficult situations. One should not even think that reading the Quran alone can cure any disease - Allah is wise and great, otherwise such a profession as a doctor would simply not exist, therefore it is foolish to ignore his Will and hope only for one divine help in the form of a miracle, ignoring other existing and accessible to everyone Gifts of the Most High.

In general, it should be noted that damage in Islam is always a sign of the machinations of the devil, which means that there is a place for temptation and sins in the human soul, and only strict observance of the precepts of the Prophet can completely heal the body and soul. But everyone can send the evil eye on you, so any Muslim should know certain methods of protection.

Magic in Islam is deeds that actually happened. This is what the Islamic people say, based on the texts in the Holy Scriptures and the Sunnah of the great prophet Muhammad. Earlier in Islam, only women were engaged in magic, but over time, many men began to master it, who were later called sorcerers and sorcerers.

Witchcraft in this faith is a terrible sin, and not only the people involved in it were considered guilty, but also those who came to the magicians for help.

The word "witchcraft" in Arabic means "transformation of the real essence." Magic in Islam is tying numerous knots on threads, reading conspiracy words and everything that affects the bodies and souls of people, causing death, illness, separating married couples, etc. A magician or "sakhir" was a person who turned to shaitans (genies) for magical help by performing vile rites.

Some information about witchcraft from the Holy Quran

The existence of witchcraft is said in the Islamic Quran: "And the prophet Suleiman was not unfaithful, using magic, but the devils became unfaithful, because they teach peaceful people witchcraft."

Imam al-Aini argued that bewitchment is a kind of illness that suddenly overtakes a person, but it, like any illness or disease, is treatable.

Acquiring the skills of "dark witchcraft" and practicing them, a person, as it were, departs from his faith and becomes an atheist.

In ancient times, in one village, the Almighty sent two angels in human form for testing - Marut and Harut. They taught magic to everyone, but they always warned:

“We are a test and you have a chance to refuse, and no one can force you to sin. Do not depart from God for the sake of a great sin, do not harm. Stop, there is nothing worse for which you could give your souls to the dark devils.

However, not everyone listened to the words of the angels and continued to learn evil. It should be noted that magical spells can only take effect with the permission of the Creator. This is also stated in the Quran:

“All conjurers will not be able to cause evil and harm to anyone, only by the command of the Great Allah. If a person believes in God, then he will always be protected by the infinite power and strength of Allah. If the words of the Great Creator, conveyed through the prophet: "whoever begins to enmity and inflict pain on a pious person, I (Allah) will declare war on him."

But, despite these words, witchcraft or other evil can affect the believer as a test of the steadfastness of faith. Earthly life is a kind of exam for all people.

The Prophet Muhammad said that everything is done for the good.

If a person finds good, thanks Allah, then this is the best for him. And if he comprehends evil, but still shows patience and successfully overcomes any obstacles, then this will also be the best for him. Everyone must endure the test that Allah will send him, only then will the person be happy.

Sorcerers, according to the Holy Scriptures, are people with great intuition and insight, possessing a fiery nature and strong souls. They are friends with the devil himself, who helps and assists them in everything.

Information coming from the dark ones is almost always distorted

Before the appearance of the last messenger of God in all communities, including among the Arab people, magic was widespread for a long time. When the final Scripture appeared, and the precepts of the Great Prophet began to spread rapidly among people, magic, like paganism, became a rather rare phenomenon.

Until the last mission of the Prophet, the devils had more opportunity to "steal" important information related to the future. The Scripture said that the devils, standing on top of each other, rose high into the heavens and, having overheard the Divine command to the angels, began to pass down the received information down the chain. The most recent genie passed all the information to the sorceress or sorcerer with a few additions of his own.

Through distorted and limited knowledge about the future, the devil led a large number of people from their true path. He, through his evil servants, led people away from Allah and His Scriptures to soothsayers and sorcerers, who over time completely mastered the minds of the people. As soon as the final Scripture of the Koran appeared, heaven became inaccessible to the black forces and their espionage. And the devils' attempts to eavesdrop on important information were thwarted by stars and meteorites.

Can witchcraft be cured?

The word "Islam" in Arabic means "surrender to Allah", "submission" and "obedience to the laws of God (Allah"). This religion required faith in the Almighty, merciful and one God - Allah, as well as in the divine predestination of the actions and destinies of people. If someone stumbled and wanted to return to his path, then this person could be healed thanks to Divine enlightenment.

Need to know that healing is always possible

Islam gives a chance to those who wish to get rid and cleanse themselves of the consequences of black magic. Magical actions based on introducing a person to the bad and forbidden through Allah will lead him to a fiery abyss. Therefore, it is necessary to bypass such healers and inform other people who want to be cured about this in order to reduce damage and evil.

How to identify a sorceress or sorcerer:

  • the sorcerer always wants to know the name of the patient and the name of his mother;
  • often asks to bring the animal named by him for the rite of sacrifice;
  • orders to bring a small piece of clothing (often black) of a person who wants to get rid of witchcraft;
  • writes conspiracy words on a piece of paper or utters incomprehensible prayers and spells;
  • gives a sick person a blanket or blanket divided into rectangles with numbers or letters inside;
  • requires not to touch the charmed water for 40 days;
  • during the performance of the rite of "healing" does not turn on the light, since such people are very fond of complete darkness;
  • gives objects or things, giving instructions to bury them;
  • gives the patient paper, instructing him to burn it and scatter the ashes and smoke on himself;
  • can tell the name of a person, his place of residence and the illness that has been plaguing him for a long time;
  • gives paper on which incomprehensible letters are drawn, ordering to put it in a plate of water, and then drink all the liquid.

The Prophet said that if a person came to a soothsayer and believed what he heard, then he thereby shows disbelief in Allah. These words are a warning to everyone who considers himself a true Muslim, but believes in soothsayers and sorcerers who have transgressed the law of the Great Allah.

Muslims should pay attention to the actions that are performed by those who treat the sick (bewitched). Muslim Shariah strictly forbids any healing methods in which a person shows disbelief, converts to paganism and imitates the infidels.

There are different types of witchcraft, for example, to separate lovers, to cause damage, to send barrenness to a woman, etc. For each of these methods, a separate treatment is defined that will save a person from the disease and return him to the path intended by Allah.

With the name of Allah the Merciful, the Merciful

Praise be to Allah - the Lord of the worlds, peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, members of his family and all his companions!

Witchcraft definition:

In Arabic, the word “witchcraft” (sihr) means changing the true essence of a thing, as said by Imam al-Azhari.

Witchcraft- this is casting spells, tying knots, and other things that affect the souls and bodies of people, causing illness and death, separating a husband from a wife, etc.

Witch(sahir) is the one who turns to the devils from among the jinn through the manifestation of disbelief and vile deeds that please them. The purpose of this is for them to assist him in his sorcery. He also claims knowledge of the hidden; leads through witchcraft to death; separates lovers; excites sympathy or antipathy; and change the mindset of people. See Qaulul Mufid 98.

Hafiz al-Dhahabi, in his famous book on major sins, wrote: “You can see how many misguided people enter into witchcraft, believing that it is simply forbidden, and not even realizing that this is unbelief!” See al-Kabair 45.

Is there repentance for a sorcerer?

Yes, there is, for Almighty Allah forgives all sins if a person repents before death approaches him. Allah Almighty said: “Say: “O My servants, who have crossed the limit to the detriment of themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah! Verily, Allah forgives all sins, verily, He is Forgiving, Merciful! Turn to your Lord in repentance and submit to Him” (al-Zumar 39: 53-54).

Hafiz Ibn Kathir said: “This good verse is a call for repentance to all sinners from among the unbelievers and other people. This verse informs that Allah forgives all sins to the one who refused to commit them and repented for it, whatever they may be, and even if they are like sea foam in quantity.. See Tafsir Ibn Kathir 4/345.

However, some Muslims do not understand the words of the scholars who say: "There is no repentance for the sorcerer!"

These words mean that if, in accordance with Sharia, it is established that a person was a sorcerer, then he will be executed, even if he repented, and his repentance is between him and Allah. It is like four witnesses caught committing adultery someone, such a person is also executed even if he repented. Therefore, we are talking about an established punishment, which is not canceled by repentance and repentance.

If someone once committed witchcraft and decided to repent, then Allah accepts repentance and should not tell anyone about it!

Some types of witchcraft

Allah Almighty said: “The devils fell into disbelief, who taught people witchcraft, as well as what was sent down to two angels in Babylon - Harut and Marut. But they did not teach anyone without saying, "Verily, we are a temptation, so do not become unfaithful." They learned from them how to separate a husband from a wife, but they could not harm anyone without the permission of Allah. They were taught what harmed them and did not benefit them. They knew that whoever purchased this had no share in the Hereafter. Wretched is what they bought with their souls! If only they knew!” (al-Baqara 2: 102).

Allah Almighty pointed out that those who were trained in witchcraft were trained in that which brought harm to themselves too.

"He who studies astrology studies part of witchcraft, the more of it, the more witchcraft" . Ahmad 1/277, Abu Dawud 3905, Ibn Majah 3726, Ibn Khuzayma 9090. Imam an-Nawawi, Hafiz al-Dhahabi, Imam Ibn Muflih, Hafiz al-‘Iraqi, Imam al-Munawi and Sheikh al-Albani confirmed the authenticity of the hadeeth.

Qatada said: “The stars were created for three reasons: to decorate the sky, to shoot down the devils with them, and also to serve as guides for travelers. The one who uses them for other purposes is deluded”. al-Bukhari 5/211.

The Almighty also said: "Say: 'I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn... from evilblowing on knots""(an-Nas 114:1, 4).

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The one who tied the knot and then spat on it committed witchcraft: the one who committed witchcraft committed polytheism (shirk)” . an-Nasai 7/112, at-Tirmidhi 2073. There is a weak transmitter in the chain of narrators of this hadith, but Shaykh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Arnaut said that the hadeeth is strengthened by other versions.

Common signs of sorcerers and soothsayers

They ask about the name of the patient, his mother or father.

Sheikh Ibn Baz was asked about those who visit various healers who ask about the name of the sick person and his mother and are told to come the next day. When you return to them, they say that something is wrong with you. Some say that these people use the words of Allah in their healing. Shaykh Ibn Baz replied: “Doing something like this during treatment indicates that this person resorts to the help of jinn and claims to know the secret. It is not allowed to be treated by such people, just as it is not allowed to go to them and ask them about anything”. See “Fataawa Ibn Baz” 1/22.

- They demand to bring some thing of the patient, for example, a piece of clothing, hair, or his photograph.

The Standing Committee of Scholars (al-Lajnatu-ddaima) headed by Sheikh Ibn Baz was asked: “What is the position of those who wear the clothes or shirt of a sick person to some people so that they make a diagnosis and then prescribe medicines?” Answer: “It is forbidden to go to anyone who claims to know the hidden and secret! And they can’t wear a shirt, or other clothes, or anything at all!” See Fataawa al-lajnatu-ddaima No. 9807.

- they write or read incomprehensible spells and prayers;
- they ask to bring a certain animal for sacrifice, usually black, because the genies like the black color;
- they can give a sheet of paper on which some letters are drawn to mix it with water, and then drink this water;
- they give some things, ordering to bury them, and usually this is damage;
- they like to stay in a dark room where the sunlight does not penetrate, for the jinn love darkness;
- they give paper, ordering to burn it and dispel the smoke on themselves;
- they can tell the name of a person or the name of his mother, his place of residence and the disease that torments him, because the jinn tell them about this, who help them in witchcraft.

There are quite a few signs of these sorcerers, but we have tried to report on the most common of them. See "Sarimul-battar" 43-45.

As for the fact that some of the sorcerers and soothsayers perform namaz, read the Koran or perform Hajj, then as a rule this is done in order to appear knowledgeable in the eyes of ignorant people and say that their occupation is a gift from Allah.

Signs of sorcerers, soothsayers, etc. quite a lot, but here I mentioned the most common of them. See "Sarimul-battar" 43-45.

Treatment and protection from witchcraft, damage and evil eye

Jabir said: “When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the removal of damage through another witchcraft, he said: "This is from the deeds of Satan!" Ahmad 3/294, Abu Dawud 3868. The authenticity of the hadith was confirmed by Imam Ibn Muflih, Sheikh Muhammad ibn ‘Abdul-Wahhab and ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Arnaut.

Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Removing damage from the bewitched is of two types. First: by similar sorcery, and this is from the deeds of Shaitan, for in this way both the one who removes witchcraft and the one who is bewitched approach the Shaitan through what he loves. Second: removal of damage by a spell, appeal to Allah with prayers, etc. it is permissible”. See Zadul-ma'ad 4/124.

Prayer to Allah Almighty

Allah Almighty said: “Who answers the prayer of the needy when he calls to Him, removes evil and makes you heirs of the earth?” (an-Naml 27:62).

Permissible Spell (Rukiya)

Hafiz Ibn Hajar wrote: “Scholars are unanimous that spells are permitted subject to three conditions: that they be the words of Allah (Quran), His names or qualities; that it be in Arabic or in a language whose meaning is clear; and having the conviction that spells in themselves are of no use except by the will of Allah!” See Fathul Bari 10/206.

The best spell is the Quran - the Book of Almighty Allah! Allah Almighty said: “We send down in the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers”(al-Isra 17:82).

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said: “Once, when we were on a campaign and stopped in one valley, a slave came to us and said: “The leader of the settlement was bitten by a snake, and our people are absent. Can any of you cast spells?” With her went a man who was not known to us for his knowledge of spells. He recited the spell and he (the leader) recovered. Then he ordered thirty sheep to be given to him and gave us milk to drink. When the man returned, we asked him: “Have you recited a permitted spell or recited a jahiliyyah spell (as in pre-Islamic times of ignorance)?” He said: “I read in the spell only the Mother of Scripture (surah al-Fatiha). We said: “Do nothing until we come and ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).” When we arrived in Medina, we told this to the prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said: “What made him know that she (al-Fatiha) is a spell?” » al-Bukhari 5404, Muslim 2201.

‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that one day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered her when a woman was treating her by reciting a spell, and he said: "Heal her with the Book of Allah" . See “as-Silsila as-sahiha” 1931.

Ibn al-Qayyim said: “The Quran is the perfect cure for all diseases of the soul and body, diseases of the worldly and future life. However, not everyone can achieve healing through it. If the sick person was skillfully treated by it (the Qur'an), turned him against the disease with fidelity and faith, full consent and conviction, and fulfilled all the requirements of this, then the disease will never be able to resist him. And how can any disease resist the Word of the Lord of Earth and Heaven, which, if it were sent down to the mountains, would split them, and if it were sent down to the earth, would divide it! The Qur'an contains an indication of the treatment and cause of all diseases of the soul and body, as well as protection from them for those whom Allah has endowed with the understanding of His Book ... The Almighty said:“Is it not enough for them that We have sent down to you the Scripture which is read to them…”(al-Ankabut, 51). Whomever the Qur'an does not heal, Allah will not heal him, and whoever it does not have enough of, Allah will not grant His sufficiency!” See "Zadul-ma'ad" and "at-Tybb an-nabawi" 253.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not single out a specific sura or some verses, but mentioned the Book of Allah in its entirety, from which it becomes clear that the Holy Quran is entirely a cure. It is known from centuries-old practice that by reading the verses of the Koran, it is possible to cure not only witchcraft, insanity and the evil eye, but also various organic diseases.

Destruction of corruption

Shaykh Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Finding and destroying corruption is the best cure for sorcery. It is reliably reported from the prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he asked his Lord about this and He pointed out to him the location of the corruption, and it was in the well. After it was taken out of there, witchcraft was removed from him. The same applies to extracting spoilage from the stomach.”. See Zadul-ma'ad 3/104.

Damage is not easy to find, it can look different, either in the form of threads tied into knots, or some strange iron wires with nuts or something else. You should ask Allah Almighty about this, so that Allah indicates the location of corruption or witchcraft.

There was a case when a brother of mine, a good friend, found damage in his own pillow.

And by the way, one of the common methods of witchcraft is eating spoilage, as mentioned by Ibn al-Qayyim, often it gets into the stomach with food. According to some women, it is known that vicious women add their periods to food in order to bewitch a man.

Whoever trusts properly in Allah and resorts to Him alone for help, He protects him from witchcraft, the evil eye, the machinations of shaitans and infidels!

bloodletting

"The best treatment for you is bloodletting" al-Bukhari 5696, Muslim 1577.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said: “He who performed bloodletting on the seventeenth, nineteenth or twenty-first day (lunar month), for that it will be a cure for all diseases!” Abu Dawud 3861, al-Hakim 4/210. The authenticity of the hadith was confirmed by Imam al-Hakim, al-Dhahabi, al-Iraqi and al-Albani.

Shaykh Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Performing bloodletting on the part of the body where sorcery is given is one of the most effective treatments, if done correctly”. See Zadul-ma'ad 4/125-126.

Black cumin

Abu Hurairah and Aisha reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Treat yourself with black cumin, for it contains healing from all diseases except death!" al-Bukhari 5687, Muslim 2215.

Water Zamzam

Jabir reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Zam-zam water is what they drink it for!” Ahmad 3/357, Ibn Majah 3062. The authenticity of this hadith was confirmed by Imam Sufyan ibn Uyaina, Hafiz al-Munziri, Hafiz al-Dumyaty, Sheikh Ibn al-Qayyim, Imam al-Suyuta and Sheikh al-Albani.

Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The best water on the surface of the earth is Zamzam water! Truly, it is food and healing from the disease! at-Tabarani. ad-Diya al-Maqdisi. The hadith is authentic. See “as-Silsila as-sahiha” 1056.

Honey

Allah Almighty said: “Your Lord inspired the bee: “Establish dwellings in the mountains, on trees and in buildings. And then eat all kinds of fruits and follow the ways of your Lord that are available to you.” The drink of different colors comes from them, which is the healing for people. Verily, in this is a sign for a people who think” (An-Nahl 16:68-69).

Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Heal with two healing things: honey and the Koran!” Ibn Majah 2452, al-Hakim 4/200. The authenticity of the hadith was confirmed by Hafiz al-Busayri.

Reading Ayat al-Kursi

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites the ayat “al-Kursi” after the obligatory prayer will be under the protection of Allah until the next prayer” . This hadith brings at-Tabarani to al-Kabir. Hafiz al-Munziri and al-Haythami considered the isnad of this hadith to be good, and Sheikh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Aranut and Shu’ayb al-Aranut agreed with them in this. See Majma'u-zzawaid 2/148 and Tahrij Zad al-ma'ad 1/164.

It is reported that one day when Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) was guarding the collected zakat, he caught a thief who said to him: “Let me go and I will teach you such words that Allah will make useful for you!” Abu Hurairah asked: “What are those words?” He said: “When you go to bed, read “ayat al-Kursi” from beginning to end, and you will always have a guardian from Allah, and the shaitan will not be able to approach you until morning!” After that, Abu Hurairah told the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this, and he said: “He really told you the truth, despite the fact that he is a notorious liar!” After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told Abu Hurairah that it was Satan himself in the form of a man. al-Bukhari 2311.

Also, in a hadith from Ubay ibn Ka'b, it is reported that once the stocks of his dates decreased, and one night he decided to watch them. Then he saw someone like an adult youth, to whom he greeted and asked: “Who are you, a genie or a human?!” He replied: "Gin". Ubay said: "Give me your hand". When he extended his hand to him, he found that his hand was like the paw of a dog with dog hair. ubi asked: “Is that how genies are made?!” He said: "The genies know that none of them is stronger than me." ubi asked: "What brings you?" He said: “It has come to our attention that you like to make sadaqah, so we have come to take food from you.”. ubi asked: "What protects us from you?" Jin replied: “Ayat al-Kursi from Surah al-Baqara”. Whoever reads this verse in the morning will be protected from us until the evening, and whoever reads it in the evening will be protected from us until the morning.”. When it dawned, Ubay came to the prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and told him everything, to which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "He spoke the truth, even though he is wicked!" an-Nasa'i in as-Sunan al-kubra 6/239, at-Tabarani in al-Kabir 541, Ibn Hibban 784. Hafiz al-Haythami called all the transmitters of the hadith reliable. Hafiz al-Munziri called the isnad of the hadith good, and Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See “Majma’u-zzawaid” 17012, “Sahih at-targhib” 662.

‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I have not seen any of those who converted to Islam and who had the mind to fall asleep without reading “Ayatul-Kursiy””. Ibn Abi Daoud. Hafiz Ibn Hajar called the isnad good. See al-Futuhat ar-Rabbaniyah 3/171.

Wa-Llahu a'lam.

And in conclusion, praise be to Allah - the Lord of the worlds!
