iPad games for 7 year olds. The best educational apps for kids on iPad

Did you know that today's most wonderful device for children– is this an iPad? Do you know Why? Because iPad app developers understand that children are the most the most important thing in life, and create wonderful programs... Programs that help the child develop.

Unfortunately, many "children's" iPad apps are not at all what we would like. That's why I decided to do a short review and write about the best applications for children. About the applications that received good reviews grateful parents and definitely are worth for them to be downloaded.

Smart Tales

It is no coincidence that I start with fairy tales on iPad. After all, it is thanks to them that children learn to understand what is right, what is wrong, what is good and what is bad.

In the application " Smart fairy tales» you will find 40 simple and understandable, but at the same time kind and cautionary tales. Every fairy tale is wonderful illustrated and has a pleasant soundtrack.

In general, the application is very convenient and will certainly bring pleasure to both parents and children.

Bucvario

Of course, in teaching a child, an ABC book is a thing of great importance. Well, with Bukvario the iPad is the best ABC book!

First of all, Bucvario helps learn letters, and secondly, develop memory and attention. It has two operating modes: for the smallest children and for older children.

To help your child learn letters, each letter is accompanied by a drawing or photograph, and is also voiced. You can even write down parental voice– after all, it will be more comfortable for the child!

In general, the application is colorful and wonderful, and you can find out more directly on the AppStore page.

Logics

With this iPad app, your child will learn colors, shapes, counting to ten, and the alphabet. There are also colorful “Pictures”, where the child will need to find previously studied figures in the picture.

Again, each card is voiced specifically for children by native speakers. But what’s interesting is that a child can learn names immediately several languages! Available in Russian, Ukrainian, English, French and Spanish.

With this application the child will Interesting studies!

Little Genius

is a beautiful kids app for iPad. It will help your child develop memory, logical and imaginative thinking, just playing interesting games.

Little Genius has four types of games in which your child will develop logical thinking, memory and visual perception: coloring, memory, puzzles and matching. And each game has 8 difficulty levels!

Besides the fact that games are simply interesting, they are also simple adorable. Your child will definitely love them!

iDiafilms

Do you know what it is filmstrips? But your child is not! And he may never know...

But iPad filmstrips will help you recreate magical atmosphere, when people got together, they turned on the projector and...

Now that children are accustomed not only to regular cartoons, but also to cartoons in 3D, filmstrips are something new and intriguing. Therefore, it is very likely that your child will watch them with interest. Well, you yourself can return to childhood... If not to yours, then to your parents’ childhood :)

Magic Puzzles

I think there is no point in telling what puzzles are. Probably everyone has put together a picture from small pieces at least once in their life. Well, the children are just adore this is a job :)

But progress does not stand still, and now with Magic Puzzles you have a bunch of puzzles in one iPad. Without a doubt, this game will captivate not only your child, but also you!

Magic Puzzles: Cats

Magic Puzzles: Cats is a stand-alone installment in the Magic Puzzles series. But this is no coincidence, because this is a “cat” issue. Well, you are probably like me, just love cats(I'm in no way saying that dogs are worse, I just love cats :))? How can you not love these cute creatures?

In general, get double pleasure: from assembling the puzzle itself and from the pictures that you receive :)

Guys, we put our soul into the site. Thank you for that

Modern children are so keenly interested in everything new and master technology so quickly that, barely learning to walk and talk, they are already asking for mom’s phone or dad’s tablet to play with.

website I have collected several colorful applications that will help entertain children of all ages and spend time usefully for both kids and their parents.

0-1 year

Lessons for newborns

Application for the little ones - rattles, tumbler, xylophone, black and white pictures and lullabies. All this will help calm and distract the baby when necessary, for example, in the car or in line at the doctor.

Lullabies

The best way to lull a baby to sleep is to sing him a lullaby. Modern applications cope with this no worse than parents. The developers offer this program not only to children, but in general to everyone who suffers from insomnia. The Android application offers a choice of melody and a timer; the functionality for iOS is a little wider.

Nursery rhymes

Different programs for iOS and Android, but both are from Russian developers and both are equally good. Here are the funniest nursery rhymes. Pleasant voice, good musical accompaniment, animated characters - in general, an excellent alternative to the book.

Amazing child

1-5 years

Sorter

The application will help you learn and remember letters, numbers, and animals. The child develops motor skills, the ability to visually compare, as well as memory skills. appearance and names of important symbols. The apps for iOS and Android are different, but the essence is the same.

Mathematics and numbers

This application will help you learn to count to 10. The child remembers how to write numbers by circling them, and also learns to show them with gestures. The program contains a number of games that promote better memorization of information. It is possible to use the application not only in Russian, but also in English and Polish.

Little genius

The application was created to train memory, develop logic, associative thinking and attentiveness. The child will be interested in solving various problems, because at every step he will be accompanied by a drawn character - the gnome Genius.

Collect the figure

This game is designed for development fine motor skills children and teaches them to accurately recognize shapes. In order to create a picture, you need to arrange its parts in the correct order. The result will be a fruit, an animal or a number.

Coloring pages

Smart kitten

The interactive and cute kitten accompanies the child in the learning process. While playing, the baby learns a lot of interesting things, and also develops logic, attention, thinking and memory. Each correct solution to a problem is rewarded with points, with which the child can later purchase a toy within the application.

5-7 years

Lola's Math Train

The gameplay is structured in a very interesting way; the program is developed in Russian, with bright pictures and equipped with text and voice prompts about what will happen now and what task the child faces. At the beginning there are very simple tasks, so you can start mastering the application with a younger child.

The post was written for my magazine, so my child is mentioned.

The promised post about games for kids for iPad.

The purpose of this post is purely for review purposes and will only be of interest to parents of children under 3 years of age. I would like to exclude in the comments discussion about the technical imperfections of the tablet and the fact that small child should play with tactile toys, and not press non-existent buttons. Thank you.

So, I tell the target group in detail and with pictures what Dusya plays (1 and 8 on at the moment) on your iPad.)

Dusin's games are organized like this, she has 4 of her own folders. With interactive books, talking animals and two folders with games.

Gradually, I came to the conclusion that modern women smartphones should be issued directly in the maternity hospital, as a guarantee of a calm motherhood. You are with the baby, and at the same time you are aware of life. This smartphone must have the main game installed - Sound Touch

1. Sound Touch
Mia started playing it when she was about a year old, but it will be interesting for even younger children. A kind of voiced cards. The Russian version is very pleasant female voice and quite a rich vocabulary, at least personally I’m talking about existence bucket loader I only found out from here.)
The game is divided into categories: pets, wild animals, birds, musical instruments, vehicles, household items. For each concept there are several pictures, all with corresponding sounds (unfortunately, our daughter, as a rule, does not listen to the sounds, she is interested in words and changing pictures).

Animal Fun
Only in English

I hear Ewe

We automatically switched on German, I didn’t look to see if Russian was possible.

2. Nighty Night
This is one of my favorite games, and Mia has also been playing it for 8 months and hasn’t gotten tired of it. Absolutely wonderful graphics.

The goal of the game is to put all the animals to sleep. To do this, you need to go to each person’s house one by one, find the switch and turn off the light.

All the animals move and make sounds. Minus - only English language. The second disadvantage is that you can’t turn the light back on; if you want to put the pig to bed again, you need to end the game and start over. Sometimes it's a problem for impatient kids ;).

3. Trouble
Here you need to help animal mothers find their babies. They learn the names of animals and their babies well. And coordination of movements is already required, you need to drag the baby to the mother on the mat with your finger. But this game has also been with us for a long time and does not lose popularity.

4. U Chubuka
The name is stupid, I agree). There are three games here: animals, letters, words.
The presenter asks to show something, for example a hare, and the child must point his finger at it. The same principle with letters. With words it’s a little more difficult; you need to put the letters in place in the word. I categorically don’t like drawings of animals, but Mia plays with pleasure and even distinguishes a raccoon from a wolf.

5.Bucvario

Everything is clear here, letters and sounds are taught. We are still learning the names of animals and playing memory games. I think the game will come in handy when we start learning to read, especially the phonetic part makes me happy.

You can learn English.

6. From letters to numbers. Arithmetic HD.
In the “Numbers” section there are numbers, oddly enough. In "Count It Up!" you need to count the drawn objects and click on the number corresponding to the quantity.

I really like puzzles. Very nice.

We are still in the section of studying numbers and counting, but the game is also long-lasting, we will return to it later. Everything is voiced, of course, i.e. It’s also good for children who don’t read but can count.

7. And a similar game in English. 123 Zoo I bought it because Russian was in the description, but alas, we haven’t found Russian yet.

The principle is the same, learning numbers, counting, writing numbers.

And puzzles. You choose the type of problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), difficulty level and team. This game can also be useful at school.

8.Erste Baby Spiele(Bebe ses premiers jeux)
We play this game in German. I installed myself that way. I don’t know if there is an analogue in Russian.

5 games.
Hide and seek - you need to find an animal hiding behind one of the landscape objects.
Coloring. Very simple, you can color with a simple click. When the drawing is ready - bonus, easy animation of the picture.

Erasing. You erase the foggy pattern with your finger. Miika is bored.
Bursting soap bubbles. This is where it's more fun. When you collect five frogs, the game is over.

And a mini-puzzle, distribute the animals along the contours. This is Miina’s favorite game at this stage, the most difficult for her, there is not enough coordination.

9. Memory Pairs Matching game. Luxuriously made game, with at different levels complexity and different languages, including Ukrainian. Bravo to the developers! I really like the drawings and the fact that in addition to the animal they name their color.

10. Mosaic HD. Another bravo. Absolutely everything has been thought out. You can choose the size of the balls, you can assemble them according to a template, or you can invent them yourself. Dusya has a love for balls, now it’s going strong, but not thought through yet, she molds balls, choosing a color, she can’t come up with a design yet, she also lies in warehouses according to templates. Ideal for 3 year olds.

11. Baby Sorter
The game is a sorter of everything)).
The pictures speak for themselves, however.

12. Mosaic I came across this puzzle game when I was looking for that Mosaic. A funny puzzle, in Bulgarian, refuses to switch to Russian. That's why snail starts with "o".

13. I united the talking characters all together. I think few people don’t know about them. For neophytes, I’ll briefly explain: They all repeat what you say, plus everyone has their own games, the giraffe can be fed strawberries and play pats, the bear plays musical instruments, the parrot is mischievous, etc. Mia loves baby very much)). He can talk to them for a long time.

14. So far I have liked two books, both published by "Makhaon".
Kolobok

turnip

Both are moderately animated and read very well.

We also have " Teremok", in my opinion, she is less successful.

15. Finally, I’ll show you another game for cats. The cat didn't appreciate this game, but the baby did, but not for long.
Cat Fishing

16. And finally, the game we are testing now Children at home. I really like it so far.

A house with different rooms

Behind each door is a room with a bunch of objects.

Great for learning words.

For older children it's a different level. You can create the room yourself.

That's all for now, I hope someone heard something new for themselves.
A number of games not mentioned in the post seemed mediocre to me and unworthy of review.
I deliberately decided not to include Angry Birds in the list, since this is the first thing that is usually recommended when asked: What games should I put on my child’s iPad?)

Then I will replenish everything.

I’d love to hear about your children’s favorite games.

Today I want to tell you about our favorite children's educational apps for iPad.

I can’t say that we play them very often and a lot, but sometimes having an iPad at hand (for example, on the road) helps entertain the child. Or at home for a few minutes to give mom freedom :)

I hope our favorite apps will help you turn your mom's favorite iPad into an educational toy for your child for a while :)

TalkingTom 2, TalkingBen

iPad Talking appTom 2

Volume

Talking Tom 2 is our very first iPad app. , which we started playing with and really liked. I can’t say that this app is educational; rather, it’s just very fun and a child can’t help but like it. Although, if the baby starts talking to Tom, there will still be a developing effect.

So what is this iPad app?

A talking cat who happily repeats everything the child tells him. With his kitten accent, of course. It turns out very funny.

Tom in the hat

The child and Tom may even have something resembling a dialogue.

You can also pet Tom (he will purr), feed him cake, give him soda, change his clothes, step on his paw or hit him in the nose (Tom falls to the floor and birds fly over his head).

I will say that the violence option can be turned off and then you won’t be able to hit Tom.

There are many other features and options.

Tom fell

There is also the first version of Talking Tom, but we like the second one better.

iPad Talking appBen

Ben

Talking Ben is a talking dog. The functions are very similar to those of Tom. Ben sits in a chair and: talks on the phone (you can call him), reads a newspaper, eats, drinks soda, works in the laboratory (there are different test tubes, by mixing which Ben gets different result and, accordingly, the effect).

Ben in the laboratory

As with Tom, it is up to the parents to decide whether or not to allow their child to hit Ben.

Reading a newspaper Eats Talking on the phone

Yes, by the way, in the Talking Tom app Ben also comes to Tom. True, such a visit does not bode well for the cat.

Tom jumped onto the chandelier

Ben hits Tom with a pillow and he jumps onto the chandelier and plunges his face into the cake.

Controversial, of course, points from a pedagogical point of view, but the function of Ben’s arrival may not be included.

WoodenPuzzle

The design is made in the style of real wooden puzzles. The elements make a funny knock as they hit the walls of the box and loudly crumble if iPad shake.

There are several options for the game: you can collect animals, geometric shapes or pictures. We really like collecting animals and figures; we haven't gotten to the pictures yet.

The point of the game is to correctly place animals, figures or details of the picture into the cells.

Our favorite animals

At the same time, the animals grunt and croak funny, and when assembled correctly geometric shapes a child’s voice calls them, although in English :)

Engine

Helper in learning geometric shapes. There are many levels, so this application for iPad is suitable for children, both small and older.

What will interest the little ones? Determine the requested figure and drag it to the desired location.

It happens like this: 3 or more different geometric shapes appear on the screen, by the way, they also different colors. IN top corner screen - the outline of the desired figure, in the middle of which a question mark blinks, and a child’s voice asks: “Where is... triangle?” Of course, you need to find it among the proposed options and drag it to the place of the question.

A more complicated option

ToddlerActivityFarm

A fun farm for little ones. Helps in studying animals (what they are called and what sounds they make), as well as in the development logical thinking and intelligence.

There are three games.

#1 – who makes this sound? By clicking on the cloud, the child hears some animal making a characteristic sound. From the 4 options offered, you must choose the correct vote holder.

Dog?

No. 2 – who is the odd one out? There are 4 animals on the screen, 3 identical and 1 from a different pack. You need to click on the one who is superfluous.

#3 – Catch the rabbit. On the screen there is a field with numerous rabbit holes, from which rabbits periodically appear. By clicking on them, we catch them, and the rabbits obediently jump out of their holes and run into the clearing.

Catching rabbits

The game ends when there are 10 rabbits standing in the clearing.

A very interesting and fun piano for little ones. There are several modes, both with the sound of real keys and with animal sounds.

Toads

Your baby will surely love how cats meow, cows moo or frogs croak in accordance with the chosen note. Even fish make their own sounds :)

Fish

And it’s also fun when you mix up the animals :)

All together

These are our favorite children's educational apps for iPad. What apps do your kids love?

Do you sometimes allow me to play with my mom’s or dad’s ipad toy 🙂?

There are quite a lot of bubble shooters on the shelves of virtual app stores, but Inside Out looks quite original against their background. This is helped by the theme of the game - one of the most popular Disney cartoons of recent times called "Inside Out". Your characters in this game will be the emotions from the head of the main character of the film - Joy, Sadness, Fear and so on. They will help you shoot bubbles, matching them by color, collecting power ups and passing level after level.

This one is pretty simple game, will be of interest to the youngest gamers - in it they will have the opportunity to build a LEGO car on their own, choose a character, and then go on a trip to collect coins, which can be spent on new cars and clothes for the LEGO man.

The appeal of Minecraft for most players different ages there is no need to prove - this fact does not raise doubts. If your child loves to create and build, then this is definitely his game. Cooking Mama is an interactive, fun and cute game in which novice gamers have a choice of recipes and their step by step preparation under the able guidance of my mother. The main thing here is accuracy and attentiveness.

This magnificent coloring book can calm the nerves of an adult and entertain a child. It will be fun for the whole family, offering gamers wonderful patterns, a wide range of colors and leisurely, relaxing gameplay.
