Scientific methods of growing teeth and the power of thought. How to grow new teeth: dreams and reality

Japanese scientists have made a gift to dentists and their patients by coming up with an ideal replacement for dentures and implants. An experiment with stem cells has led to the fact that you no longer have to worry about lost teeth.

Scientists have learned to grow teeth directly in the patient's mouth. A successful experiment has so far been carried out only on laboratory mice, but the prospect of operations of this kind for humans is not far off.

Authors new technique scientists from the Tokyo University of Science in Noda under the leadership of Professor Takashi Tsuji began in dental treatment. Their research initially focused on the behavior of germ cells that form teeth in mice.

After extracting such cells from mouse embryos, scientists divided them into two types - epithelial cells and mesenchymal. From the first type, glands are formed in the body, the surface of the mucous membrane. The second group is responsible for the presence connective tissue and muscles. After separation, the cells were recombined to form embryonic dental tissue.

The resulting tissue was grown in a special nutrient medium for several days, and then transplanted into animals in place of previously removed molars. Almost a month later, new teeth appeared at the transplant site, and after another two weeks they were fully formed for normal functioning. The color, size and position of the new teeth were no different from the old ones.

Professor Tsuji explained how the new method would work in humans: “In humans, instead of germ cells, we can use reprogrammed stem cells that can be rebuilt, and then from them we can create germ tissue for growing teeth.” Scientists say that it will take about five years to develop and eliminate all the shortcomings of this technology. This means that in the near future it will be possible to completely abandon implants and dentures.

Anyone who has had a dental nerve removed at least once will be very pleased with this news. The most excruciating pain will soon be over. New tests conducted by researchers from South Korea, Japan, the USA and the UK, have shown in animals that procedures involving stem cells help restore the extremely important living tissue of the tooth - the pulp. The process is still in the early stages of development, but if successful, it could mean reducing or even eliminating the need for painful dental nerve removal.

The whole concept of pulp regeneration is to try to keep the tooth alive... This means that the natural defense mechanisms of the tooth will be preserved, says biologist oral cavity, Professor at the University of Birmingham (UK) Tony Smith.

A five-day-old tooth embryo was placed in the gum (top), it erupted after 36 days (middle) and was fully grown after 49 days (bottom).

Some scientists have focused on growing entirely new teeth. Most try to grow new, healthy pulp within the hard shell of tooth enamel, either by stimulating the growth of stem cells or by better controlling inflammation caused by infection.

Pulp regeneration is carried out using a hydrogel containing a small protein. A gelatin-like substance is injected into the tooth and serves as a base on which the cells, blood vessels and nerves of the pulp grow.

Another approach is to extract the pulp from the tooth and isolate the stem cells, then transplant the stem cells with growth-promoting molecules back into the tooth cavity. Clinical trials on humans of the hydrogel method will begin in no later than two to three years, and it will be used in dental treatment within five years.

FROM THE KP DOSSIER

Sensational experiments are being conducted in Japan

In 2009, the Internet and newspapers around the world were full of screaming headlines two years ago: scientists grew a full-fledged tooth in a mouse in place of a pulled one! Professor Takashi Tsuji from the Tokyo University of Life Sciences studied the behavior of germ cells that form teeth in mice and came up with a way to stimulate their growth. Then he managed to perform an operation in the mouth of a rodent. And he soon clicked his artificially grown fang. And in 2011, the scientist improved and accelerated the process.

This is how teeth are grown now. 40-50 thousand “dental” stem cells are extracted from mouse embryos, and they are grown for some time not in the mouth, but in a special composition - jelly-like collagen. Then, when the tooth embryo grows, about half a millimeter in size, it is transplanted into an adult mouse in place of the torn out incisor. After 37 days, the tooth breaks through the gum. And after 49 days, the new incisor is no different from the old, original one. The “newbie” has equally strong enamel, it is also firmly attached to the jaw, maintaining natural sensitivity: nerves and blood vessels grow inside the tooth. The new teeth cope well with any mouse food.

Grow new teeth, even in 3 rows, soon everyone will be able to! Professor Jeremy Mao from Columbia University has proposed a new revolutionary technology that will allow you to forget about drills, implants, dentures and other dental joys.

The problem is that installing implants requires multiple visits to the doctor and is often accompanied by pain, discomfort and inflammation... But Professor Mao took a different route!

How to grow teeth

The doctor developed teeth growing technology directly into the empty alveolus, and this method revolutionized the world of dentistry.

Jeremy Mao made a frame from natural materials, which was shaped like a real tooth, and placed it in growth stimulant. He implanted the germ of such a tooth into an empty alveolus in an experimental animal. The porous structure of the frame allowed the stem cells of the animal's body to migrate into this structure.

After an average of 9 weeks, the subjects grew teeth that perfectly took root with the restoration of the periodontal ligaments.

The result of Professor Mao's discovery: from now on it is possible to grow a tooth right in the patient's mouth in just 9 weeks.

Well, let's wait for the earliest use new technology in our clinics! Jeremy Mao gave us hope that soon we will no longer have to endure long and painful procedures at the dentist, but by pulling out bad tooth, grow a new one in its place.

Editorial “So Simple!”

This is a real creative laboratory! A team of true like-minded people, each of whom is an expert in his field, united common goal: helping people. We create materials that are truly worth sharing, and our beloved readers serve as a source of inexhaustible inspiration for us!

I hate going to the dentist - it’s expensive and scary, and I’m also a hypochondriac. I recently discovered a small spot on a tooth - I started Googling about caries and possible scenarios, and ended up reading about implant care and progress in growing new teeth. Since I’ve read it, I’ll write about it.

Teeth growing methods

Teeth can be grown either “in vitro” and then transplanted into the gums, or directly into the gums from a “tooth germ”. In both cases, as the main initial building material stem cells appear. You need to understand that so far only mice and dogs have been able to grow and “engraft” a tooth. So For people, these developments are still just a theory. You can read more in the material authored by Japanese researchers Masamitsu Oshima and Takashi Tsuji.

Source

Despite the fact that people are not yet growing teeth, “tooth banks” are already appearing, which offer to preserve baby teeth for the sake of stem cells. It costs about 2000 dollars. Store-A-Tooth is one such bank that offers to preserve teeth for possible future therapy.

Another possible option- awaken dormant genes that are responsible for tooth growth. After all, it is known that in some animals, teeth grow throughout their lives. You can read more about this in the article “Sharks will teach people to grow teeth.” Researchers are also studying alligator teeth to see if regenerative processes can occur in the same way in humans. Cheng Ming Jeong, the lead author of the study, claims that human DNA has the ability to repair teeth and regenerate other parts of the body. However, this "code" responsible for regeneration is not included.

If you don’t grow teeth from scratch, then at least restore “holes”

Scientists have invented a substance called Tideglusib, which stimulates stem cells in the tooth, the source of dentin. By the way, dentin can recover on its own, only under certain conditions: sterility, that is, the absence of pathogenic microorganisms, and the absence of traumatic factors. But even then the tooth can only recover very thin layer dentin - insufficient to fill a large cavity. Tideglusib can also treat larger cavities because it disables the GSK-3 enzyme, which stops dentin formation. For treatment, a biodegradable sponge made of collagen impregnated with Tideglusib is simply placed into the cavity in the tooth. Eventually, it dissolves and the cavity is filled with new dentin. However, again, the experiments were carried out only on mice.

About the “worldwide conspiracy of dentists”

It is unlikely that it will be beneficial for manufacturers of dental equipment, implants and dentists if people simply start growing new teeth. This is probably the only argument “for”, besides, it can be applied to any innovative technology. It is easy to construct such “conspiracy theories”. But buying breakthrough “patents” that can kill large corporations, really takes place. And the absence (or small amount) of fresh news in the press about developments specifically in growing teeth from scratch is confusing, although research is still underway. But the article “Japan has learned to grow teeth” is from 2011.

When I first started looking for information about current state developments, I discovered a lot of old articles in the spirit of “Scientists have learned to grow new teeth,” generally dubious materials without a single reference to scientific research. I also came across the article “A Ukrainian scientist can grow new teeth, but they won’t let him,” which talked about a revolutionary method of growing teeth using stem cells taken from baby teeth. The material indicated that when the developer of the method, Poltava geneticist Alexander Baranovich, decided to protect his discovery with a patent, it turned out that this technology has already been patented and postponed until “better times” by a large American manufacturer of dental equipment, Adecron. It’s possible, but there was no reference to the patent, and at the request of “Adecron” the search engines return only Russian articles about a conspiracy of dentists.

Another argument against conspiracy - you can find many detailed descriptions research in the field of dental growth in the public domain. Here, for example, is a study in which it was possible to grow a tooth with the correct structure, both in vitro (in vitro) and in vivo (after dental embryo transplantation), with the formation blood vessels and nerve fibers. Of course, also only for the mouse. Or here’s another open access study. It describes in detail what difficulties have been encountered and what has not yet worked out. The same thing with growing teeth in dogs, an analytical article in Nature is available for everyone to read. If you’re too lazy to read the whole thing, you can just CTRL+F and go through all the mentions of the word “however”.

Regarding the existence of a “conspiracy,” you can also read the article by dentist-implantologist Stanislav Vasiliev, “Growing teeth from stem cells. A dentist’s opinion”, where he clearly explains why growing teeth is not so simple. And the point is not, or not only that it is beneficial for someone to have their teeth treated “the old fashioned way.” In short, it is very difficult to force stem cells to divide in such a way that the end result is a fully shaped tooth, with the required proportions of enamel, dentin and other “layers”. And even if you grow a “tooth in a test tube”, the desired shape and size, then no less difficult task to transplant it: “For some time I was engaged in autologous dental transplantation. That is, I transplanted eights into the place of the removed sixth teeth and observed what would come of it. You can read more about this here,” writes the doctor. The specialist talks about the problems associated with transplanting not fully formed teeth, but only “tooth rudiments,” and why mice with teeth will have “simpler” teeth. And, most importantly, from a professional point of view, it explains what the press is silent about.

According to Stanislav's forecasts, if teeth are grown, it will be in 50-100 years, and it will be expensive. But there is a more optimistic forecast. Dr. Rena D'Souza from the University of Utah believes that growing teeth will become available within the next decade. True, this statement itself is already 5 years old. But research is underway, for example, the dog’s teeth grew quite recently. The next stage is growing teeth in humans.

Waiting for teeth to grow

I would like to believe in an optimistic forecast, but for now we just have to take care of our dental health. To do this, you need to eat less refined foods rich in “fast” carbohydrates. Because they, and especially sugar, serve as a breeding ground for bacteria in the oral cavity. Bacteria, absorbing sugar, increase acidity - this is what destroys teeth. If you eat sweets, then at least drink a lot of water afterwards to naturally neutralize the effect of acid produced by bacteria. If you don't do this, it's like voluntarily rinsing your teeth. lemon juice, which corrodes the enamel.

If you have any information on the topic, comments, or know about research that I have not noticed, please write in the comments.

This article collects evidence of the regeneration (growing) of new teeth that was leaked to the media, and also gives a general description of methods, which are offered by various authors in order to grow new teeth, restore extracted and diseased teeth.
Here are a few brief headlines from materials that document this phenomenon.
“...Mikhail, yesterday I watched a report on TV about my grandmother, who at the age of 70 discovered that her teeth began to change for the third time in her life...”
“...In a neighboring village, a healer teaches people how to build up enamel on damaged teeth by rinsing their mouth with a propolis solution and using a mental image.”
“...The doctors of the Drozhzhanovsky district hospital could not believe their eyes when their ward Maria Efimovna Vasilyeva opened her mouth wide. Wow, a 104-year-old resident of the village of Chuvashskoye Drozhzhanoe has... started to grow teeth again!”
“...Daria Andreeva, a 94-year-old resident of Cheboksary, has started cutting new teeth. According to experts from the Chuvash Republican dental clinic, now the old lady has already cut one tooth.”
“...At a resident settlement Sharanglu, Iranian province of East Azerbaijan, has grown new teeth to replace those lost due to old age.”
“...Unexpected happiness befell Marya Andreevna Tsapovalova, who lives at the Rehabilitation Center for Pensioners in Sochi. At the age of one hundred, she suddenly began to grow new teeth!
“...One of them is 128-year-old Iranian Bahram Ismaili. Due to old age, he lost only three teeth, and new ones grew to replace them. Bahram also does not eat meat. Besides, he had never brushed his teeth in his life.
A similar incident happened to the Indian peasant Baldev. He grew new teeth at 110 years old. Baldev - heavy smoker. He complains that he has long been accustomed to holding the pipe with his toothless mouth and now it is inconvenient for him to clamp it with his teeth.”
“...12-year-old French girl Michelle was a little unlucky in life. The fact is that the girl suffers from a rare hereditary disease. Michelle has grown shark teeth that constantly break and grow back. She has much more of them than ordinary people, and they grow in several rows. Michelle recently had 28 teeth pulled. And still she has 31 more of them than she should.”

Quote from an article by Natalia Adnoral:

Miracle one: there may be no caries. A similar phenomenon was observed by Italian dentists who visited several monasteries in Tibet. Of the 150 monks examined, 70% did not have a single diseased tooth, and the rest had extremely limited caries. What is the reason? Partly due to dietary habits. The traditional menu of Tibetan monks includes barley cakes, yak milk butter, Tibetan tea; In summer, turnips, potatoes, carrots, and a little rice are added, sugar and meat are excluded.

Miracle two: tooth decay can be reversed. An example of this is the cases of self-healing caries observed by dentists, when the affected tissues become strong again, and the restored area of the tooth acquires a darker shade. And such cases are by no means isolated. How does this happen? Builder cells detect damage and restore the integrity of the tooth in the same sequence in which it was originally created.

Miracle three: new teeth can grow. This is called the “third change of teeth” and is observed in people very old age. And although a person does not have the rudiments of the third generation of teeth, there are remnants of “eternally young” tissues that suddenly, for reasons that are not entirely clear, remember their destiny to become teeth and successfully realize their potential. Similar messages in lately not uncommon: in a 110-year-old resident Indian state Uttar Pradesh grew two new teeth; a 94-year-old resident of Cheboksary and a 104-year-old woman from Tatarstan began to cut new teeth; As many as six teeth appeared in an 85-year-old Novgorod woman... Of course, one can be skeptical about sensations. If only... not for the latest discoveries of science.

A scientifically proven miracle. A group of scientists from the American Research Center of Texas, led by Dr. McDougal, studied special cells that produce dental tissue (enamel and dentin). The genes responsible for this production are active only during the period of tooth formation, and then turn off. Scientists managed to “turn on” these genes again and grow a full-fledged tooth (while “in vitro”, outside the body).”

A few more studies reported by the media:

***Researchers from Osaka University are preparing to clinical trials in public. According to scientists, this method is much cheaper than prosthetics, ITAR-TASS reports. The treatment system is based on the effect of genes that activate the growth of fibroblasts. This is the main cellular form of connective tissue.
Its effect was tested on a dog that had previously developed severe form periodontal disease - atrophy of the tissue around the teeth, leading to their loss. Then the affected areas were treated with a substance that included the mentioned genes and agar-agar - an acidic mixture that provides a nutrient medium for cell reproduction. Six weeks later, the dog's fangs erupted. The same effect was observed in a monkey with teeth cut down to the base.

***Today, Paul Sharp from King's College in London is engaged in growing teeth; he also heads the most famous company in this area - Odontis - at Guys Hospital in the same London. In addition, the Forsyth Institute in Boston, America, and Queen Mary's College in the English city of Hants are working in this direction. Among our scientists, Poltava geneticist from the Center for Transplantation of Cryopreserved Embryonic, Cellular and Fetoplacental Tissues Alexander Baranovich is working in this direction.

***A revolutionary method of growing teeth has been developed in Ukraine. The author of the idea is Alexander Baranovich, a geneticist at the Poltava Center for Transplantation of Cryopreserved Embryonic, Cellular and Fetoplacental Tissues.
He is working on creating a unique technique with which toothless people can renew their jaw with virtually no prosthetics. To do this, an injection of liquid based on the stem cells of the fallen baby teeth is made into the patient’s gums at the site of the lost tooth. Once in the bone tissue of the jaw, the cells begin to multiply, and in 3-4 months a new tooth grows.

According to the scientist, similar experiments are being carried out in the West. So, English doctor Paul Sharp is close to creating a genetic gel with which a new tooth can be strictly programmed to exactly the shape and size of its fallen predecessor.

***A team of researchers from the University of Oregon (USA), after a long search, found the gene responsible for the production of tooth enamel, which is so necessary for teeth. It is the inability of enamel to recover that leads to tooth damage in more than 8/10 of the population globe. It is possible that scientists will be able to force the found gene to restore enamel, covering vulnerable areas. Thus, caries and some other dental diseases can be avoided.
Scientists called new type Ctip2 gene - interestingly, it is responsible not only for the production of enamel, but also for some functions of our immunity, the development of the skin and nervous system. Now we can add enamel restoration to this list of responsibilities of this gene. The research results were published by scientists in the authoritative publication "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences".

***Japanese scientists from medical university the city of Hokkaido managed to develop a unique technology for dental treatment thanks to the invention of a special chemical composition, which is based on the proteins collagen and phosphorin.
During the experiment, doctors placed a loose protein mass into a tooth of an experimental dog damaged by caries. Just two months later it was recorded full recovery dentin. Dentin is the substance that forms the basis of the tooth. Japanese scientists intend to begin human trials as soon as possible. short terms

***Scientists have managed to create a technology that allows one to grow new teeth in place of fallen ones. The miniature system uses ultrasound pulses to stimulate the formation of dental tissue and help heal diseased teeth, reports Eurekalert.
A small wireless device sealed in a casing made of biomaterials will not cause any inconvenience to the patient. It is attached to the oral cavity by any in a convenient way, for example, on “braces” or in a removed crown. Scientists have also developed a sensor that changes the power of the device so that the pulses always reach the roots of the teeth. The researchers hope to present a finished model of the device by next year.
The device is intended for patients with tooth root resorption, which occurs from mechanical or chemical damage. Mechanical damage are caused by wearing corrective braces for a long time. The new device will allow such people to wear “braces” and not worry about anything. It is assumed that among this segment of the population (in North America five million people wear braces), sales of the device will amount to 1.4 million copies.
Initially, the technology was tested on rabbits. The device also allows you to build up jaw bone, which will greatly help children with hemifacial microsomia, a disease in which one side of the child's jaw remains underdeveloped in relation to the other. It is usually treated surgically.

All dental restoration techniques from various authors have several common points, which are listed below:

1. Mental teleportation in time. Researchers recommend transporting yourself in your imagination or in meditation to the age of 13-15 years, when all the baby teeth are already gone, but the molars are still healthy. Imagine yourself at this time as best as possible, possibly using photographs. Remember as many exciting moments from this period of life as possible...
2. Working with the energy-information field. The goal is to implant or transfer the “embryo” healthy tooth to the place you need. According to Mikhail Stolbov - giving the order to the tooth to grow. Subsequently, there is a constant mental visualization of beautiful, shiny, white teeth.
3. Daily, or according to some methods hourly, maximum attention to to the right place, constant stimulation (both physical and psychological), increased blood flow, massage of the gums with a toothbrush, jaw training.

Reader comments:

2 years ago, a wisdom tooth was pulled out, an x-ray was taken, the gums were empty. A year later, he began to grow a tooth in the same place. Now I have already grown more than half of the tooth. As soon as I finish, I'll move on to the rest. There is no secret here; this was in the order of things for our ancestors. I also know a person who grew a tooth.
You don’t even need practice, just trust yourself and believe in the result. Great placebo =) And various practices exist for this purpose, to tune you into the right wave (Stepan Rudakov)

About 15 years ago, on YandexPeople, there was a forum dedicated to this issue, military pensioners, with bad scans of photos of their extended teeth, shared their experience, although they had salt + electricity, with small currents, they fused their teeth this way, I don’t remember about the fortress , but they were definitely whiter in color than their relatives (Alexander Dvornikov).

**************************************

Below is a fragment from an unfinished book by Mikhail Stolbov (the author died in an accident), where Mikhail shares his experience of growing 17 new teeth.

It all started in 1978, when I was serving my required three years of military service on Russian Island. It was then and there that they knocked out almost all my teeth with a stool. Then I terribly hoped that I would be immediately commissioned, but at government expense, within a week they made false jaws for me, and for the remaining 2.5 years, because of my burr, I was “Mongrel” for everyone. Dentures It’s an unpleasant thing, but not fatal... and it’s not something one gets used to.
For next years I have repeatedly replaced these dental prostheses with new ones and have already resigned myself to my fate, but some time ago I found myself “locked” in Siberian taiga. There I was overtaken by a disease, due to which I could not wear prostheses for longer than 15-20 minutes a day. Any object and even my own language caused me pain. Food had to be turned into porridge and swallowed without chewing. The process of eating turned into flour and dragged on for forty to sixty minutes. Besides, I couldn't talk! After all, teeth, in collaboration with the tongue, participate in the formation of the sounds T, D, Z, N, R, S, C, Ch; and together with the lips in the formation of the sounds V and F. Fortunately, at that time in the guardhouse near Razdolny I had no one to talk to... But there was no one to save me either. I was very painful and scared. This is what made me start looking for ways to GROW new teeth.

At the moment I have 17 (SEVENTEEN!!!) new teeth of my own, which have grown contrary to all claims modern medicine. During this year, a lot of different events happened in the taiga, and I don’t know what exactly played a role in the occurrence of the miracle. Therefore, in my book I will try to carefully repeat the discoveries that I made in the taiga and describe the actions that helped me become sharp-toothed again.
I will try to list them and write each one sequentially:
· Changing our worldview - learning to believe in miracles
· Quit smoking
· We accumulate energy (reset overweight)
· Learning to listen to your body
· Learning to listen to your soul
· Learning to listen to the World
· Growing teeth

Several letters:

“Hello Mikhail! I was glad to find your work on growing teeth on the Internet. I had all my teeth removed and recently discovered the growth of two new teeth. I can’t explain the reason for this and for now I’m just observing the process... I’m really looking forward to finishing your book. The teeth were completely removed a year and a half ago and these two teeth are growing NEW. I don’t have a serious technique, with the exception of water charging and the “Chew - bite” exercise, and the formula “Where there is thought, there is energy, where there is energy, there is blood! I am 46 years old. Alexander.”

“I grew two teeth. The essence of results is motivation, at least that was the case for me. Initially, I just wanted to reanimate my teeth, in terms of aesthetics, but gradually I realized that they just don’t react like that. It all started when the teeth became vitally important and simply began to fall out of the gums. That’s when the first results appeared. The pain was incredibly acute, especially in the first 2 days and when the gums broke through in some places. 2 teeth appeared, but not in the place of the old ones, but nearby, though without curvature. In other words, the result is 2 new teeth and after six months of work there were no more results.”

“When my side tooth was pulled out, the front two teeth moved apart and there was a very wide and ugly gap between them. Because of this, I was terribly worried and complex. Imagine my surprise when, after some time, another tooth GROWED in this gap!!!”

“I would never have believed it! But, having found your articles on the Internet, I decided to try it and three days ago I got a new tooth!!! At first I didn’t understand anything! Something stings my tongue and that’s it. Yesterday I saw: the infection is creeping!!!”

“Hello, Mikhail! I have one tooth with history. That is, I have had a cyst there for a long time; several years ago we intensively treated it. Today we took a picture and it turned out that bone tissue between the roots has been restored, which in principle cannot happen, as my dentist told me.”

Quotes from forums:

“Anatoly: Cultivated purely deliberately. He created a mental image of teeth where they no longer existed. In a couple of months, 4 beautiful white ones grew like snow. But our dentists are typical barbarians. They began to prove that this was an anomaly, that these were wisdom teeth (after 50 years) and before I had time to come to my senses, all 4 of my handsome teeth were brutally removed without anesthesia. A repeated attempt to grow new ones did not lead to anything. The fact is that I went to these barbarians to build a bridge and they “proved” to me that these teeth would not only interfere, but also harm. And faith in Soviet medicine was higher than faith in one’s own abilities, so...” http://magov.net/blog/135.html

“It so happened that I put off dental treatment until the last moment, always believing that I could do it on my own, and even I think at one time it worked out - I mentally “scanned” the jaws, imagining how strength appeared in the teeth and blood flow increased, but somehow not systematically . And suddenly, in the place of the tooth pulled out in the army, something appeared. I didn't know what to think. On the one hand, the army may not have completely removed the tooth and it could have been a remnant of the root; on the other hand, what appeared was absolutely smooth and neat (!!!) Then suddenly a spot appeared on its surface (it protruded by 1-2 mm) which quickly began to turn into caries. And then, because of another tooth, my cheek became swollen and I had to go to the clinic where the doctor, along with the damaged tooth, pulled out this piece. Naturally, no one paid attention to all my attempts to draw attention to the fact that it might not be a fragment (and I was good - under the injection and even panicked by visiting the clinic - I was not particularly persistent). In short, about 4 years have passed since that event and I gave up (there’s nothing left to chew).”

“And here’s what an acquaintance, a former Khalulaevite (one of the former special forces elites in Primorye), told me. Once he met a Buddhist monk in the taiga, he was looking for grass, and we became acquainted. He said that it is possible to grow teeth, for this you need a special mood (possibly meditation), a certain set of herbs, and most importantly, you need to be in the taiga for three months. Apparently, being in nature is a must (not everyone who wants to go to the Primorsky or Siberian taiga). Herbs, I think, are needed to cleanse the body, nature - to gain energy, meditation - for pure thoughts, a mood - for teeth growth.” http://forum.anastasia.ru/topic_21135_30.html

The practice of growing new teeth according to the method of Sergei Veretennikov

“After vision problems (see vision restoration practice), the problem bad teeth ranks second in popularity. Of course, just as a vision problem is solved by wearing glasses, a dental problem is solved by wearing prosthetics. But is this the same thing as good young teeth? Of course not.

Nature gave us the opportunity to change teeth once in childhood, and it can give us this opportunity again and again if we “turn on” the same mechanism of tooth renewal again. All you need to do for this is to know which “button” to press so that your body understands what you want from it. This feature is currently sleeping and will continue to sleep until you enable it. Obeying a certain program - teeth change once in childhood, and then this “automatic” program ends and you, if necessary, need to launch it yourself with your mind.

Let me briefly describe how the growth of the first teeth and then the replacement of teeth with new ones occurs in childhood.

1. So, usually the first teeth appear about 5-7 months from the moment of birth, but from 3-4 months the child begins to feel the process of “nucleation” of teeth in the gums, he bites everything and periodically cries. The first to appear are the two lower central incisor teeth.
After some time two appear upper incisors. Pay attention to this important fact - it will be important in my further narration of this practice.
And then, at varying intervals, the incisors grow on the sides, then the molars, and finally the fangs. And at the very end, after a noticeable interval of time, the rear molars.

2. Somewhere around the sixth year, the teeth begin to wobble first, and then the teeth fall out in the same order as they appeared - first the two lower incisors, then the two upper ones, etc.
Notice that this whole process starts again with the two front incisors.

“Old” teeth begin to wobble because young, growing new teeth appear below - they destroy the roots of baby teeth and loosen them until they fall out. This is a simple and straightforward process. Which we all remember well thanks to the wisdom of Nature - through pain she conveyed to her children the memory of this process, as if telling us: “Remember Children, I know that you are in pain, but this the only way so that you remember how new teeth grow, so that if you wish, you can remember this in the future and grow new ones, remembering this.”

3. By the age of 12, teeth are completely replaced with new ones, and another program for the growth of new teeth is also implemented at the age of approximately 18 years, when wisdom teeth grow. And then history knows only the “accidental” activation of the program for the growth of new teeth, when new teeth began to grow in older people, who, by one or another unconscious action, “launched” this process, which is waiting in the wings and can be “launched” by absolutely anyone.

Description of the practice of growing new teeth

A. The first thing to do is to remember as much as possible of all the sensations that accompanied the growth of new teeth in childhood. This is not difficult to do - because... Nature tried and gave us a memory of this through pain (all painful sensations are the most powerful and are remembered for a long time). Remember this constant itching in the gums, how old teeth sway, which are “pushed” from below by growing young teeth, how you stand in front of a mirror with a thread tied to a tooth in an attempt to overcome your fear by pulling it out, etc. Remember this because this is the first “button” that will turn on and start the process of growing new teeth.

B. Now I will return you again to the description that I gave above - namely, to the place where I said that the first teeth begin to grow from the first two lower incisors and from them they begin to change to new ones. This persistently tells us that here is another one of the “buttons” that needs to be pressed to turn on the process of tooth regeneration.

V. And the third “button” is, of course, in our consciousness. We must also turn it on permanently, because... We won’t be able to do everything that I write below all the time (all 24 hours).

1. So, I will describe what exactly needs to be done. Find 10-30 minutes to practice every day. For the first third of this time, think about the space under each tooth, i.e. simultaneously under each tooth inside the gums. In this space, imagine small white teeth as seeds that are just germinating. Think of these teeth exactly like seeds, i.e. about what has been planted and is already beginning to sprout. Remember (from the first point) the itching that accompanied the growth of new teeth in childhood, how the teeth “itched”, how painful it was, etc.

2. Maintain this concentration for the first third of the practice.

3. Further, without stopping the concentration described above (teeth-seeds, itching in the gums), concentrate on the point that is located under the two lower front incisors (this is an area of approximately 0.5-0.8 cm). As you concentrate - you can feel pressure in this area, this is good.

4. Maintain this concentration for the second third of practice.

5. Without stopping both concentrations that I described above (on the gums and on the point under the front incisors), also concentrate on the area between the eyebrows and a little deeper (Third Eye), mentally saying something like the following phrase: “My teeth are completely renewed.” At the same time, keep the thought form of renewing your teeth, in which bad teeth fall out, and new young teeth grow in their place.

4. This practice must be done for at least a month. Of course, some may need less time, others more. Therefore, the main criterion here is your ability to feel yourself.

Note: The only reason for failure in this practice may be your fear of losing teeth and clinging to old ones. For example, thoughts such as “What if all the teeth fall out and no new ones grow”, “Better a bird in the hand than a pie in the sky”, etc.

The formation of the dentition goes through two cycles: in the first two years of a person’s life, milk teeth erupt, in school age they are replaced by indigenous ones. Regeneration is not typical for permanent teeth, therefore, by old age, most people already have a variety of prostheses.

However rare cases The third eruption of teeth forced scientists to think about the hidden capabilities of the body and prompted new discoveries in the field of dentistry. And supporters alternative medicine– to develop mysterious self-hypnosis techniques for growing new teeth.

Why do teeth decay?

From the point of view of traditional dentistry, as well as according to specialists in alternative medicine, the causes of tooth decay are the following factors:

  • Failure to maintain oral hygiene is the leading cause of damage to tooth enamel, which leads to a variety of dental diseases.
  • A careless attitude towards the enamel of crowns is the habit of gnawing hard objects and opening bottles.
  • Occupational hazards in the form of permanent jaw injuries (boxing), contact with harmful chemicals and radiation.
  • Internal diseases leading to dysbacteriosis, malnutrition of dental tissues, metabolic and hormonal imbalances.
  • A difficult period for the body, accompanied by decreased immunity, vitamin deficiency and deterioration of tissue nutrition. For example, during pregnancy.
  • Age-related degenerative changes in various organs.

There is another view on the causes of tooth decay and loss throughout life. It lies in the fact that the dentition reflects the condition of all internal organs. And if any organ is sick, the tooth that is functionally connected to it will also deteriorate.

For example, caries lower canines indicates problems with the liver, and destruction of the upper or lower incisors of both jaws can indicate diseases of the urinary system. According to some experts, carious damage can also be accompanied by headaches, which also have no visible connection with the underlying disease.

Is it possible to grow new teeth and how to do it?

Some people are surprised why teeth do not grow back after falling out or being removed, because the body provides for the formation of molars, canines and molars in place of the lost milk teeth. But traditionally there is an understanding that Nature provides only two stages of tooth formation; there is no third stage due to the lack of new rudiments.

However, in general principle development of the dentofacial apparatus does not fit into the rare, although actually documented, cases of repeated eruption in old age. After such unexpected precedents, many doctors realized that a mechanism for repeated tooth regeneration exists, but it starts at such an early age that not everyone lives to see it. And under the influence of what triggering factors this happens is an even more complex question.

Scientific techniques for growing new teeth

After the discovery of special cells in the body that are capable of forming tissues of a wide variety of organs, scientists around the world have been trying for many years to grow different parts of the body that can later replace people’s own diseased organs. This is also where the idea of growing teeth from stem cells came from. Some of the most outstanding results of such research belong to scientists from Japan; in addition to the cultivation technique, they developed a method for restoring enamel using a special protein solution.

The rudiments of new teeth to replace patients are obtained in the laboratory using genetic engineering. Then the resulting cell mass is transplanted into the jaw to replace the avulsed or fallen tooth. Stem cells are taken from the patient himself so that the tissue takes root and is not rejected by the immune system. This procedure is unpleasant, since the biomaterial is obtained from bone marrow and jaw area.

To learn how scientists grow new teeth, you can watch the video:

In contrast to the Japanese technique of growing a new tooth directly in the jaw, the Americans propose to regenerate the entire organ in a test tube and implant it into the patient in finished form. This technology has many advantages that are already real. modern stage development of science.

There is a practice of regenerating new young teeth, which involves stimulating cell division in the jaw under the influence of a laser or ultrasound. The effect of the technique can be compared to the stimulating effect of tissue massage.

Disadvantages and dangers

Despite the intensive work of scientists to grow new teeth instead of extracted teeth, the methods they propose are at the moment have more defects than successful results:

  • When starting regeneration processes, it is difficult to program cells to form a certain type of teeth: molars, incisors or canines - which differ in their location, functions and structure.
  • So far it has been possible to conduct research only on some domestic animals: dogs, rabbits, rodents - and the consequences of such manipulations on humans are still unknown.
Exposure to a laser or the introduction of a stem cell can have an unpredictable effect on the body, including cell degeneration. In addition, theoretically, interference with the genetic material of cells could affect the formation of tissues in future generations.
  • At the moment, there is no clear plan for growing a complete copy of the lost tooth with complete restoration of its structure; instead, a structureless cellular mass of dental tissue can be formed.
  • Growing new teeth requires many expensive tests and procedures.
  • It is extremely difficult to provide an environment for the vital activity of dental tissues outside the body.
  • The lifespan of grown teeth can be very short.

Psychological and pedagogical method of growing teeth according to the Shichko method

The method of growing teeth according to the method of the biologist Shichko belongs to the field of alternative medicine and is an analogy of his technique for getting rid of pathological addictions. It is based on the assertion that, while falling asleep, a person is able to correct his consciousness and influence the organs and systems of the body. To do this, the following conditions must be met:

  • Keep a diary where your existing successes are recorded daily.
  • Do not use negation in speech.
  • Adjust your mind to positivity by fixing positive thoughts.
  • Clearly imagine the result and the desire to achieve it.
  • Follow the rules strictly.

Norbekov's technique

The technology of growing human teeth according to Norbekov’s method includes a set of special breathing exercises performed over the course of a month. During the lesson, you need to take 10 breaths with increasing depth of breathing, and then 10 techniques in reverse order. At this time, consciousness should be concentrated in the desired place in the jaw where the tooth is planned to be grown.

With the power of thought, a person must control the process in the smallest detail: from the connection of molecules to the vital activity of each cell during the growth of new teeth. The author claims that if you successfully follow the technology, you can feel tingling and itching, as when teething molars or baby teeth.

Other ways

Some supporters of alternative medicine claim that teeth can be regrowed using folk remedies and techniques. You can also find tips for partial restoration of dental tissues. The most common recommendations are:

Followers unconventional techniques note that each person takes a different amount of time to restore at least one new tooth. For some, with proper and regular adherence to the technique, three months is enough, for others – six months or more.

Disadvantages of non-traditional methods

These dental restoration practices can give hope to a person who has had their own teeth pulled. Evidence that correct self-hypnosis helps correct body defects is sometimes actually found. But different unconventional methods may be useless and even dangerous for humans:

  • On the Internet and in television broadcasts, there are charlatan methods for regenerating teeth, which are useless or developed without taking into account the benefits and harm to the body, and are based on dangerous procedures.
  • Any method of traditional and alternative medicine has its own contraindications, which are not always warned about. For example, not all people can use breathing exercises, after all, even healthy person after this, metabolism may be disrupted.
  • People with vulnerable health conditions (during illness, or pregnancy in women) should not use untested methods, much less try to grow new teeth in children using these methods.

At the moment, it is possible to restore the dentition only with the help of dentures or microprosthetics. If you want to try to grow new teeth yourself using thinking and unconventional methods, please note that the technologies used must be safe for the body. These methods may be harmful, especially for older people or pregnant women. Therefore, it is better to consult a doctor before any procedures.

This article collects evidence of the regeneration of new teeth that has been leaked to the media, and also gives general description techniques that are proposed by various authors in order to restore extracted and diseased teeth.

According to specialists from the Chuvash Republican Dental Clinic, the old woman has already erupted one tooth.”

“...A resident of the village of Sharanglu in the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan grew new teeth to replace those that had fallen out of old age.”

Baldev is a heavy smoker.

What if caries has already damaged your teeth?

Miracle two: tooth decay can be reversed. An example of this is the cases of self-healing caries observed by dentists, when the affected tissues become strong again, and the restored area of the tooth acquires a darker shade. And such cases are by no means isolated. How does this happen? Builder cells detect damage and restore the integrity of the tooth in the same sequence in which it was originally created.

Well, what if caries has won and there is nothing left of the tooth?

Then prosthetics, of course.

Miracle three: new teeth can grow. This is called the “third change of teeth” and is observed in very old people. And although a person does not have the rudiments of the third generation of teeth, there are remnants of “eternally young” tissues that suddenly, for reasons that are not entirely clear, remember their destiny to become teeth and successfully realize their potential. Similar reports have not been uncommon lately: a 110-year-old resident of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has grown two new teeth; a 94-year-old resident of Cheboksary and a 104-year-old woman from Tatarstan began to cut new teeth; As many as six teeth appeared in an 85-year-old Novgorod woman...

Scientists managed to “turn on” these genes again and grow a full-fledged tooth (for now “in vitro”, outside the body). True, one cannot count on rapid changes in the practice of prosthetics. It will take at least 20 years for the technology of growing your own teeth to become widespread..."

A few more studies reported by the media:

Researchers at Osaka University are preparing for human clinical trials. According to scientists, this method is much cheaper than prosthetics, ITAR-TASS reports.

The treatment system is based on the effect of genes that activate the growth of fibroblasts. This is the main cellular form of connective tissue.

Its effect was tested on a dog that had previously developed a severe form of periodontal disease - atrophy of the tissue around the teeth, leading to their loss. Then the affected areas were treated with a substance that included the mentioned genes and agar-agar - an acidic mixture that provides a nutrient medium for cell reproduction. Six weeks later, the dog's fangs erupted. The same effect was observed in a monkey with teeth cut down to the base.

Today, Paul Sharp from King's College in London is engaged in growing teeth; he also heads the most famous company in this area - Odontis - at Guys Hospital in the same London.

A few quotes:

A revolutionary method of growing teeth has been developed in Ukraine.

Thus, the English doctor Paul Sharp is close to creating a genetic gel, with the help of which a new tooth can be strictly programmed to exactly the same shape and size as its fallen predecessor.

A team of researchers from the University of Oregon (USA) after a long search found the gene responsible for the production of tooth enamel, which is so necessary for teeth. It is the inability of enamel to recover that leads to tooth damage in more than 8/10 of the world's population. It is possible that scientists will be able to force the found gene to restore enamel, covering vulnerable areas. Thus, caries and some other dental diseases can be avoided.

Scientists have named the new type of gene Ctip2 - interestingly, it is responsible not only for the production of enamel, but also for some functions of our immunity, the development of the skin and nervous system. Now we can add enamel restoration to this list of responsibilities of this gene.

Japanese scientists from Hokkaido Medical University managed to develop a unique technology for dental treatment thanks to the invented special chemical composition, which is based on the proteins collagen and phosphorin.

During the experiment, doctors placed a loose protein mass into a tooth of an experimental dog damaged by caries. After just two months, complete restoration of dentin was recorded. Dentin is the substance that forms the basis of the tooth.

Japanese scientists intend to begin testing on humans as soon as possible, and the practical application of the discovery will become possible within five years.

Scientists have managed to create a technology that allows one to grow new teeth in place of lost ones. The miniature system uses ultrasound pulses to stimulate the formation of dental tissue and help heal diseased teeth, reports Eurekalert.

A small wireless device sealed in a casing made of biomaterials will not cause any inconvenience to the patient. It is attached to the oral cavity in any convenient way, for example, on “brackets” or in a removable crown. Scientists have also developed a sensor that changes the power of the device so that the pulses always reach the roots of the teeth. The researchers hope to present a finished model of the device by next year.

The device is intended for patients with tooth root resorption, which occurs from mechanical or chemical damage. Mechanical damage can be caused by wearing corrective braces for a long time. The new device will allow such people to wear “braces” and not worry about anything. Among this segment of the population (five million people wear braces in North America), the device is expected to sell 1.4 million units.

2. Work with the energy-information field. The goal is to implant or transfer the “embryo” of a healthy tooth to the place you need. According to Mikhail Stolbov - giving the order to the tooth to grow. Subsequently, there is a constant mental visualization of beautiful, shiny, white teeth.

3. Daily, according to some methods, hourly maximum attention to the right place, constant stimulation (both physical and psychological), increased blood flow, massage of the gums with a toothbrush, jaw training.

Great placebo =) And that’s why various practices exist, to tune you into the right wave.
Stepan Rudakov

About 15 years ago, on the people (Yandex sites), there was a forum dedicated to this issue, military pensioners, with bad scans of photos of their extended teeth, shared their experience, although they had salt + electricity, with small currents, they fused their teeth in this way, I don’t remember about the fortress, but they were definitely whiter in color than their relatives.
Alexander Dvornikov

Below is a fragment from ]]> an unfinished book ]]> by Mikhail Stolbov (the author died in an accident), where Mikhail shares his experience of growing 17 new teeth.

Dentures are an unpleasant thing, but not fatal... and it’s not something you get used to.

Over the following years, I repeatedly replaced these dental prostheses with new ones and had already resigned myself to my fate, but some time ago I found myself “locked” in the Siberian taiga for almost a year.

At the moment, I have 17 (SEVENTEEN!!!) new teeth of my own, which have grown contrary to all the claims of modern medicine. During this year, a lot of different events happened in the taiga, and I don’t know what exactly played a role in the occurrence of the miracle. Therefore, in my book I will try to carefully repeat the discoveries that I made in the taiga and describe the actions that helped me become sharp-toothed again.

I will try to list them and write each one sequentially.

I don’t have a serious technique, with the exception of water charging and the “Chew-bite” exercise, and the formula “Where there is thought, there is energy, where there is energy, there is blood.”
I am 46 years old. Alexander".

Today they took a picture, and it turned out that the bone tissue between the roots had been restored, which, in principle, cannot be, as my dentist told me.”

Once he met a Buddhist monk in the taiga, he was looking for grass. got acquainted.

Officially recognized by medicine, the fact of tooth growth at the site of the removed one:

It is usually believed that growing new teeth in humans is something out of science fiction. And indeed, we are accustomed to the fact that the loss of our molars can only be compensated by installing prostheses.

However, science does not stand still and the regeneration of new teeth no longer seems incredible.

As is known, the facial bones and tooth buds in the fetus are formed from embryonic cells already in the first trimester of pregnancy and disruption of this process leads to a number of pathologies of the maxillofacial bones.

To know how to stimulate the growth of new teeth, you need to understand which genes are responsible for the formation of young tissue.

Dental tissue is created by the body through the mineralization of cells secreted ameloblastomas. Being epithelial cells, they play important role in the formation of tooth enamel up to the moment.

Research on this issue has revealed that the transcription of certain genes is responsible for the production of enamel.

Growing a new tooth is a complex but potentially possible process.

These same genes are responsible for the creation of dental tissue stem cells. That is, under certain conditions, there is a theoretical possibility of using these stem cells to grow new teeth.

Understanding exactly how certain gene mechanisms function will make it possible to recreate dental tissue for use in restoring jaw functions.

  1. First, one can observe the formation of the so-called dental plate, the presence of which is also expressed in an increase in the number of epithelial cells along the jaw line.
  2. From this plate, milk and molars subsequently grow.
  3. In addition, human genes are established. Until one tooth develops to a certain extent, the body does not allow others to grow, so as not to disrupt the integrity and health of the dentition.

Only after a new tooth has grown does the next one begin to grow. Thus, something like a free zone is created around each new sample, protecting it from changes in the direction of growth.

For now human teeth change the set only once

Achievements

However, studies have shown that it is possible to form dental tissue from epithelial cells that are not located at the site of the future dentition.

But the tool that can be used to signal these cells to develop into new incisors and molars located outside the dental plate is not yet known.

Also, to start the growth of young tissue, it is necessary special morphogenetic protein, which can be said to “receive” this genetic signal and amplifies it.

Genetic disorders that block the growth of new teeth can also lead to uncontrolled activity of this protein, as a result of which the incisors will form beyond the limits indicated by the dental plate.

The free space between the teeth is also explained by the fact that not only the dentition, but also the jaw develops and increases in size.

It is the genetic program for the development of the jaw to a certain size that removes the restriction on the further growth of teeth, giving them a signal that the jaw is sufficiently formed for teething.

It turns out that the question of how to grow new teeth at home depends mainly on understanding and copying genetic program growth of new dental tissue and development of jaw bones.

Theoretically, the ability to provoke epithelial cells to transform into the appropriate tissue and further grow will allow a person to regrow teeth.

Conclusion

So far, scientists have succeeded in growing dental tissue outside the human body, but from its cells. The specimen obtained in this way was successfully implanted and is fully functional.

Despite the fact that the issue of growing new nerves and vessels that should be carried into the tissue of a new tooth has not yet been resolved, the technology is promising.
