5. Focus on good feelings

Ask yourself what will you do when the panic and anxiety attack passes? This way, you will redirect your attention from the bad to the good, and you will be motivated to start feeling good. If you are going to an event, think about how much positive emotions you could get there. Just think about how you feel at the moment, and not about what they might feel. Otherwise, the “what if...” attitude will pull you back.
