Organophosphorus compounds inhibit cholinesterase; they are highly toxic to humans.

To the group anthelmintic drugs, which have a predominant effect on the neuromuscular system flatworms, include preparations of male fern, ethereal extract of male fern, filixan, pomegranate bark, akrikhin (see) and aminoacrychin (see).
